AVERY40 mm Diameter Crystal Clear Labels

I put off buying these as I was looking for white round labels- which Avery no longer seem to do in this size (for herb jar lids). They actually printed quite well. I used a Word text effect which produced a see-through to the metal of the jartop below which looked rather better than solid text. The only issue again was the template. Avery's template software at the time of writing screams blue murder if you are running Windows 7. You can find a template in Word 2010- but it's hidden under Mailings>labels and not under new document>template. It's very slightly off so if you want pretty illustration printing right up to the edge, the bottome is slightly out. Plus of course you have to plan your design in a square template and guestimate what will be cut off by the round label. I've waited so long to redo my labels that I just put up with it and didn't try to tweak until it was perfect.

Did not realise these were only for last printers so make sure you check! Hopefully I'll find a use for them!

I bought these labels recently but I discovered that there is no template for them . You had to create your own template from the Avery website and it was difficult enough to do. I had to waste a number of the sheets in order to see if the design was on the sticker centrally. I got there eventually and the templatewe was able to be saved for further use.

The look great on jars . I also use them on wrapping paper . The only think I would say is let the ink on the labels dry for a long while before using them. I will buy again.

I have used these on my spice pots and I love them.

I ordered this label but a while back but only recently opened the package and to my absolute dismay, i was sent the colour labels removable instead. which I s no good for anything and I can't find out how to contact the customer to complain about this. I'm utterly disappointed!!

Excellent product

Cannot review the item as not informed when ordering that it needed a laser printer.Package arrive ready for labelling using this item. Was not until we got to the sheets did it inform usthat it was laser printer friendly only.
