Morphy Richards Supervac Deluxe Cordless Vacuum Cleaner 3-in-1 734055 18v Cordless Cleaner

Initially I was quite impressed with this product. The battery life wasnt amazing but I kinda d of expected that. If I was quick I could get around my 4 bedroom house before it required a recharge. The brush on the main vacuum head clogs up very quickly with hair that it collects from the floor and had to be pulled off manually ( I use pliers ), ideally after each use. After 18 months use I noticed it wasnt gliding so well along my hard wood floors and was leaving black lines in its wake. Beneath the vacuum head are 4 small wheels with rubber tyres to lift and assist with movement as you push and pull. Three of the four tyres had perished and split. I phoned Morphy Richard's customer support who informed me that I couldn't purchase just the wheels/tyres, that I had to buy a whole new brush head. Seems a bit of an overkill for something that will obviously require replacement every 18 months or so. Now looking at an alternative means of fixing my wheels.

Ummm, this product is ok... I wouldn’t buy it again. We have pets and their hair keeps getting caught around the floor roller. The dust/dirt capacity isn’t great either, and we do find we have to empty it frequently. Battery life ok as long as you pop it on charge after every use. I would say it’s ideal for a small house/flat or office space but it just doesn’t have the suction power to compete with other brands of a similar statute.

I was loving this little hoover, then something went wrong, just over 3 months in. The sound has dropped to hairdryer like and it isn't picking up, so I guess a problem with the motor. Happy to say Amazon sent a replacement the very next day. This is a powerful little hoover. My son thought I had had my Chinese rug cleaned after I first used it. You do have to be fine with frequently emptying the small canister though. Also with taking it apart as the tubes also get blocked often. A small stick is handy to get everything from the cylinder. Taking it apart is a bit tricky. Then of-course there is the relatively short power time before it needs recharging. I have a small house and only carpet on stairs and bedroom. This hoover suits me but may be frustrating to some-one else with the frequent emptying and charging, but all in all I am a fan and often amazed at how much it has collected from a floor that looked clean. I like the choice of cylinder at top or bottom. Saves my back.

I purchased this product to make general vacuuming a lot easier, and to allow me to put the vacuum round more often without the hassle of having to take out a big vacuum cleaner and plug it in etc. To this end it served its purpose for awhile.The ergonomic design of the kit is really good. There are different configurations to use for different tasks, and that flexibility is really good.One of the main problems with this vacuum cleaner is the fact that the tiniest of things blocks it up. This means you need to take the brushhead apart and poke round for five or 10 minutes to unblock it every time. The suction power was just less than adequate but if you over vacuum the same spot a few times you will get an acceptable result.The battery had just enough power to last for 10 to 15 minutes.My biggest beef with this vacuum cleaner was the fact that it just stopped working after about a year. I took apart the filter, cleaned it up and tried every other approach to get it working, but with a full battery it would last about 10 seconds then cut out. After all this I just couldn’t be bothered with it any more and left it. Then I found the paperwork which said it had a two year warranty, but this is just run out. So this afternoon I took it to the tip. An expensive waste of money.

Am hugely impressed by this cleaner. The only complaint I have is that, on full power, it's incredibly noisy! However in all other respects it's an excellent bit of kit.

The BEST cordless vac ever! I originally bought a hoover vac that stopped working not long after it arrived, I sent it back and amazon replaced it and that stopped working within the week it arrived. This time I asked for a refund into my amazon acct. when that Arrived I chose this little Murphy Richards cordless vac and WOW. Don’t let its lightweight small body full you. This hoover kicked butt on my carpet removing cat hair and fuzz off my chocolate brown carpet better then any corded vac ever did. I love it!

I have mixed feelings about this vac. The only reason I have given it two stars rather than one is that it has made cleaning the stairs much easier and I like the easy manoeuvrability of the head. However, what the blurb on Amazon fails to tell you is that you only get up to 25-30 minutes of run time providing you use the vac on the MIN power setting and not the MAX setting. Using the vac continually on the MAX setting actually only gives you about 10 mins of run time before the machine automatically reduces to the MIN setting. You don't actually find out this important piece of information until you read the instruction booklet. To be honest, the MIN power setting is about as useful as a chocolate teapot and picks up nothing. In addition, as other reviewers have said, the dust canister is tiny and needs to be emptied after every use. When emptying you also have to ensure that every scrap of debris is removed from the filter otherwise the machine loses suction.I'm afraid to say that if you have a house bigger than a garden shed then you will struggle to vac your home all in one go using this machine before the power runs down. So, no I don't recommend this vac.
