There are much better options
After 18 months of ownership and 2 winters running this at the range, I can't really recommend this product.Whilst is is reasonably well built and has stood up to 9mm recoil, and it's easy to install/remove, the negative aspects rule it out for serious use.Firstly it is a pig to clean the lens. I have no idea what material the lens is made of, but it doesn't clean up easily. This greatly reduces the light this thing kicks out.Secondly the ergonomics are poor. It takes far too much pressure to activate the light switch. So if you draw your pistol, take a sight picture and then activate the Olight to identify the target, the pressure required to activate the switch will cause your sights to move off target. You then need to re-acquire a good sight picture before taking the shot.It might be ok for airsoft, but for real firearms in real use, it is just not up to the job.
