Beware the danger of short circuit!
Not being one to complain normally, sadly Christmas present was not 100% for my grandson as the music box No.21 component, connected as diagram and words directed, did not work at all and I found out was shorting out making the batteries actually hot!!!! (I personally checked it with a circuit tester and no imedence on circuit!!). So to me this is a potentially dangerous battery fire/explosion hazard if I had let the child put it together unsupervised! Maybe there should be an inline thermal fuse/circuit braker in the battery holder to safeguard children from this danger? However, it is fair to say the boy loved the helicopter flying thing and the bulb circuits.Having made a complaint Jhua have sent me a replacement set very quickly and this set has been a joy to see the boy working on it. He loves the music box now working on the replacement set. Well done Jhua for acting quickly and taking my complaint seriously.

Science kit
Excellent kit my grandson aged 6 loves it as he can make different items that actually move. It's sturdy,good value for money, good for coordination skills, hours of fun. Bought as a science project during lockdown home schooling. Would recommend.

Great gift
Bought for my nephew and it is a great way to get kids involved in electronics. Will require adult supervision as you can create short circuits and the devices get warm/hot. Mind you that is another teaching point would still recommend and the kit is modular so you buy more and build more complex circuits. In fact I would recommend this for all ages and adults alike.

Does not work at all, having tried 4 sets of batteries as well... very disappointed birthday boy. This was given as a gift on 11 Feb, and returns cut off was 31st Jan, I can’t find contacts for the selling company. As I would like advice on what’s gone wrong.

No light in the box!
The light is missing from the box! Didn’t find out until it was opened Christmas morning. Can’t really use it to make a circuit if there is no light to show the circuit works. Very disappointed, will be returning as soon as I can.

Safe and great fun!
Absolutely brilliant.Circuit building made safe and fun.Love it. 3 year old loves it. Plays with this more than his cars now. Learning made fun! I wish I had this when I was a kid.
