Mrs Darlington's Mincemeat with Brandy 410g

This is the best mincemeat I have ever known. It is thick, without evidence of suet, and it adds to the texture and taste of the ingredients used. I heartily recommend this product.

This had a decent flavour, but the sweetness level was far too high for me. Would be best in used shallow or mini mince pies with just a teaspoonful of filling. The brandy flavour was quite faint. I would have preferred less sugar and more peel, apple and brandy to create a more subtle taste.If you have a very sweet tooth, this is not a bad choice.

I don’t actually like mincemeat myself but as usual made mince pies for my family and they said this mincemeat was delicious

The mincemeat in brandy arrived today and although we won't be using it for a couple of weeks it looks really good.
