MAG 254 Latest Original Linux IPTV/OTT Box - Fast Processor, faster than MAG 250-Genuine Original Box From Infomir

I was quite impressed with quality of the picture, I have a 65 inch HD TV and it shows up any faults, but I am sure on a normal TV the results will be really pleasing. I have an internet speed over 10 mbs and there is a small amount of hesitation now and again, sometimes for a few seconds, but you can't expect miracles from such a cheap box. Have a slower speed in Spain so will see how it works when I get there.i need this for my holiday home in Spain and I auditioned the 250 box in a shop in Mojacar. they explained it was not HD, and the picture was sort of OK for a holiday but nowhere near as good as the 254.Purchasing media as and when I need it is a big advantage as for instance, I will not be in Spain for most months in the winter.A|ll in all, I think this is a very good way of enjoying Sky in Spain without the expense, and especially useful since the satellite was switched off recently.

I only discovered these tv box's recently and wow how glad i am, get rid of your current overpriced tv subscriptions and get one of these. You still have to subscribe to get a tv package but for a fraction of the price for far more channels, 1st thing you need to do when you get it is do a software upgrade for the magbox and also enter (pool.ntp.org) into its server settings then click ok to save them and then re-boot portal/device. Then look round the web for iptv sellers who sell the iptv packages, most will let you have a free trial for 24hrs so you can try out the channels 1st before buying any tv package. The box itself does not come with decent set up manual/instructions, Its interface looks very basic similar to an old pc or computer game from the 80's and 90's but dont be fooled as this little baby comes alive once you have your iptv provider stored in its portal setting then reboot the portal for those new iptv provider settings to be installed and it will re-start with your new tv channels. You do need internet for this box as theirs no ariel sockets, its internet use only. The other thing to note is copy or take a picture of your mag box's mac address underneath the device as thats required by the iptv providers when their giving you trials or when you subscribe, so dont rub off or damage its device i.d so best thing is to take pic for backing up the important device info.

These are a fantastic item to have if you're away from home working as I am. I work from Argentina through to Australia and providing you have a good internet signal and subscribe to a good server you wont be disappointed.If you're not sure how to load the url address as supplied by your nominated server then take a look on youtube and follow the step by step instructions.Honestly theyre simple to use once you've fathomed the basics.The thing to be aware of is which server should you chose, I have a Mag 250 and a 254, the 254 has a faster processor but both are equally as good. I use both ipguys and Voodoo as my preferences, I've been using IPTV for more than 4 years and I've tried at least another dozen or more different subs but these suit me as I found less buffering than others.Buy one and enjoy

The instructions in my Mag254 box were Russian and a english version but never looked at them as there is plenty of information out there and proper blokes don't do instruction pamplets anyway. Just to state there is no channels on these boxes till you set them up with a iptv portal so dont expect to get it delivered plug it in and voila.

Finally set up the box and got the channels I needed to watch Lebanese shows from. Only downside is that the instructions manual is not as clear on how to set up. I had to rely upon google to search for instructions by a kind person posting “how to set up iptv and get channels” we’ve had the box 2 weeks so far and not sure how to fix the channels to favourites only as it always re-sets itself to all channels - quite annoying. Also, not sure if it’s channel subscription provider or the box but the sound may not come through automatically so have to click a couple of channels, and go back for the channel sound to come through

Prior to making my purchase, I researched quite thoroughly & discovered that according to other posts, cloned copies were numerous across the Internet. I decided to take the plunge with this company based upon what I found & it appears that what was supplied seems genuine. It arrived with all of the accessories, remote control etc..even a hologram. I had it programmed by a friend & all seems to be working as it should when I tested it. It's a Christmas present for my son, fingers crossed it remains reliable, I have no evidence to suggest that it should be just fine. Recommended

didnt like this box = it should have performed better than its predecessor but for me it didnt - it froze several times each day requiring a complete power off and restart - and even when we did a few mods to the DNS it did improve a little but the freezing continued - maybe it was just a bad unit. - sorry to say that it went back and i reordered a 250 and that has been absolutely fabulous by comparison6MONTHS LATER - we tried this unit again and its working fabulously well with the right subscription package and supplier
