Beautiful Guitar
This is a fantastic guitar for the money. It's loud and clear with a nice set up from the box and a reasonably low action - so, still good for a learner like me. The built in tuner is very good, and the pick up does a great job. I tried a Gibson AJ and to my novice ears I couldn't tell the difference. This guitar will last too as it's very well made. Nice and clean edges, the frets are cut perfectly. Thankfully, the metal E on the pickguard came straight off - I never liked those on Epiphone guitars. This will definitely last, and I can't see me ever wanting another guitar.

Great value for money
Delivery: ordered on 2nd of may and received 3rd of may so very happy with that. The guitar is (after only playing for a few hours) well worth the money. I bought this guitar to jam in the house with to save my more expensive guitar for gigging and to save it from getting knocked/damaged. That being said this epiphone sounds great for being so cheap! The strings that were on it arent great quality but thats an easy fix and no big issue. The overall tone of the guitar is great, nice crisp clear trebbles, a good warm bass tone and a perfect mid range. The action is ok straight out of the box though i might lower it slightly. Very happy with my purchase. Not plugged it into an amp yet but the on-board tuner is very accurate and works fine, a good thing for any beginner or gigging musician to have. Only down side if i was being picky is that the E logo on the scratch plate looks a bit tacky and came off very easily other than that its a great guitar for a beginner or for someone like me wants a decent but cheap guitar for jamming with and im sure it would perform great on a stage too. Hope this review is helpful to others and if so, i hope you enjoy this guitar :).

A great instrument from Epiphone.
The plusses here greatly outweigh the singular minus.I was looking for an instrument with a light albeit punchy sound for rhythm playing. This fits that bill very well indeed. It is a nice instrument to play, not heavy but not so light it feel delicate either as for example compared to a classical guitar. Very nice fast playing action replete with tuner and good volume and tone controls it sounds even better through an amplifier and as a solo instrument produces some very pleasing tones. Now for my only criticism which can apply to many similar instruments, The strap button is also the jack plug socket and the damn thing unscrews itself. Being a dreadnaught the base is a long way from the sound hole and I can't get my hand inside far enough to rectify this myself and hence will shortly be returning to the company from which it was delivered to have this fault rectified. I have been in contact and there is no problem here. This is a common design fault among many makes of instrument unfortunately, I would prefer the jack socket to be on lower part of the body side as is the case on two other of my guitars but it was the sound that bought this guitar for me and this fault, which is not guaranteed to occur of course, is easily rectified in the shop.As this is a common problem with the button/ jack socket combination applicable to many instruments, it can be discarded as a negative aimed at this instrument. I do thoroughly recommend this guitar.

The sound is wonderful and the set up suits me just fine
I can safely say i have nothing but positivity here. I ordered this to Portugal in a fairly back-o-beyond little village as a cheap guitar for the rest of my time in the country. It showed up before the earliest estimate merely 2 days after ordering so I'm seriously impressed there.Onto the guitar. It showed up very securely packaged and after a quick tune up it an absolute beauty. The sound is wonderful and the set up suits me just fine, i normally play with a slightly lower action but I'm always up for something different. I've even been able to bust out my slide on it as it's a good mid range and the rasp is just a banger. Dust my broom has only ever sounded better on my res. I will most definitely consider this seller again and i look forward to playing this bad mamma jamma far longer than just my holiday.Cheers guys your brilliant!

You're in for a real treat with this one...
Having played guitar for over 30 years and owned many in my time, I can say this guitar is one of the sweetest sounding guitars I’ve ever played. Can you recall playing a guitar where, whilst strumming, a mini-chasm of sound builds to the point where resonance from one chord continues as you play another? That describes this guitar perfectly and soloing is a breeze, too. It’s in such new, pristine condition that time will be needed for frets to be worked in to suit your style of playing but that’s another definite bonus! Highly recommended!

For the money a classy instrument
I bought a black one in a warehouse deal, and aside from the fact that the Epiphone stick on logo fell off almost immediately its been a great buy. It has a built in tuner, and treble and bass controls as well as a phasing effect (all only useable when played through an amp). Someone I know paid more than double the price of this instrument and didn't get a built in tuner. At the moment I'm mainly playing it acoustically, and trying to teach myself blues guitar. Its sound is very good for. Sure you could spend a lot more money (you can literally spend thousands) and without doubt get a better class of instrument, but for an amateur player this is a fine instrument.

Ok for the money.
Very disappointing on arrival if I am honest. Nice guitar for the money, however it took me a long time to shave down the bridge saddle mounting little by little to get a decent playing height. (string action)And I had to file down the nut end too!Maybe I am just too picky?..lolBut serious guitar players would probably avoid it?

Electro- acoustic Guitar
Good tone with and without the electric pick-up. the only negative is the high action. The guitar arrived well packaged and without defects.
