I had 6 of these to start my Google home set-up. I chose them because they were UK available and didn't want to wait for ages for the sake of a few quid.They arrived same day, as promised and I was impressed by the quality of the boxes. Scan the qr code on the side and download the ewelink software, then the setup is quick and easy.I loaded them up and linked with Google Home really quickly. I've used these for a week for multiple lamps, extension leads etc and they haven't let me down once. They never go offline and are the best I've tried so far.The units are a little slimmer and better made than other ones I've seen. They have a fantastic over the air firmware update which was seemless. They now show up in the app as S20, which is the Sonoff branded model that my friend paid more for, so couldn't be happier.

Works well now I've sussed out why it won't connect and set up - it will only work on 2.4Ghz, so if you have a dual or only a 5Ghz wifi setup you'll need to specify or change it.Once past that it connects perfectly, the app is completely functional (better and more intuitive in Android than iOS - iOS you have to physically connect to the plug as a hotspot, Android configured and swapped SSIDs automatically). Also works well with Amazon Alexa - make sure you follow the setup in order if you don't want to keep adding and removing, renaming, etc.Minus one star purely for the incomplete documentation and hassle configuring wifi.

Not easy to set up- downloaded the correct app eventually, followed instructions and after three attempts got my appliance to turn off and on. Couldn't specify what device though, just said Alexa tournament device in and off and it worked.

Value for money sockets. No need to pay £45 a pop like I did on my previous socket purchases. User interface isn't as pretty as others but it is simple and practical to set up and works with Alexa.

Got these and after sending back light switch that needed a neutral wire but uk does not supply neutral in switches so thought these would be good for lamps instead, after a bit of fiddling around with alexa and ewe link finally got them working , really impressed for about 3 days then they keep unlinking with Alexa or ewelnk it's difficult to know which, they blink fast which states it's connected to wifi but not sever ???? What! If not not very techy it's a nightmare . Anyway I can now operate them from iPhone to turn them off/ on but Alexa can't operate them so it really defeats the object of having Alexa , rapidly losing patience with these but don't know if it's the plugs or alexa because they are showing up on the screens but not connecting to each other

Recently bought 2 of these to use with my Google home but they are really unstable.Set up is easy and they worked perfectly for 2 days. After that, one I had on my TV started to drop off. It would periodically go offline and then onto LAN mode despite my internet connection remaining stable. Up until around the 5th day I assumed only one was faulty as the other (on my lamp) continued to work fine. Incidentally, the one on my lamp was slightly further away from my router. Before the end of the week I started to notice the same issue with the other and now it's become an effort to keep reconnecting them. As a result I've now disconnected both and requested a refund. I chose these because they were the most reasonably priced with a decent review but I'm afraid they are just not reliable enough. I'll be repurchasing a better brand.Both were located in the same room as my router and I have no issues with any of my other Google home devices.

These plugs are outstanding, tricky to get the hang of at first, but, you can use more than one, despite other reviews stating you can’t. You need to read fully the instructions provided in the box and reset the plugs manually first, they then work perfectly. We have 3 in use and can be used from anywhere, certainly, anywhere in the country, as fully tried and tested successfully. Brilliant invention. Superb.
