Q: Is this an actual rug? I ordered something exactly like this before and it was like a giant mouse pad. I hated it.

Hahaha... its a rug! To be more precise I think its more of a bath mat given the backing and size? I keep it in my living room tho and love it.. easy to clean up and takes care of foot trafic from out back door.

If you don't want to pick it up and hang it to dry, sure. Otherwise, it will never dry, and must be hung. They are not regular bath mat material.
