Bodymax CF375 Power Rack System (with lat/low pulley)

The equipment itself is of a good standard for the price point and would otherwise be worth 5 stars however the instructions are simply terrible. There are three steps for the frame and two for the pulleys. In reality there are about 20 steps for each. It is possible to figure it out but could be so much easier with a few more sheets of paper

Brilliant bit of kit. This has absolutely transformed my workouts. Having the ability to bench press without a spotter, and knowing you won't kill yourself with a rogue bar, was one of my main drivers for buying this. It's now the centrepiece of my garage gym, and the cause of much 'kit envy' of my friends and family (well, the ones that are into that sort of thing anyway!).Construction is good. It took me about 45 minutes to build (including the pulley setup) on my own, and I can't really fault anything about it. I can't recommend this enough, as it has opened up the possibilities of what I can do workout-wise, and I've added extra exercises to my usual routine. Spot on.

Bought this as a Christmas present for my son. It was what he wanted, he loves it!!!!! so do his friends.

Received this rack last week, having bought direct from powerhouse fitness.The rack seems to be really good quality and I am pleased with it. Construction took about 2 hours including the pulleys which were the most time part. Dimensions seem to be accurate.You will need a couple of 17mm spanners to put it together. All bolts are 10mm in size which is handy.The pulleys system wasn't completely smooth going up and down the bars but a bit if wd40 sorted this out. It may be because some of the bars that hold it together need to be realigned slightly (my fault).The spotter bars do seem slightly on the cheap side possibly, but still sturdy enough. I would drop a squat from lockout position onto them, but they look like they would be able to withstand a drop from the squat position of you missed a rep.Paint finish and appearance is good. It looks the part.The only thing I could say is possibly the holes for the spotter bars etc could have less spacing between them, as it is possible you will not be able to to find the perfect position for them to catch the bar if you are benching (too high or too low). Luckily for me my everything is perfect, probably depends on the heigh of your bench really.Pull up station is good although not great for close grip chin ups as it is too wide. Pull ups are fine close grip and super wide grip. Considering the how expensive the step up from this is, the Cf475, I think this is a good happy medium. It would have been good of the welded some plate storage bars on somewhere though.All in all would recommend.

Really good piece of kit and reasonably priced ..... you could spend a hell of a lot more purchasing similar products but I don't think you'll need to. This does the job well enough for any home gym.
