OtterBoxApple iPhone 7 Strada Series Leather folio case - Onyx Black 77-53972

After deciding to switch from an iPhone 6s to the iPhone 8 I was worried about the glass back being smashed and damaged easily as I had read plenty of review online, I originally planned to switch to the iPhone 7 due to this reason but due to there being very little difference in my contract price I decided to risk it and go with the 8. As I was worried about the fragile glass back I knew I needed a strong case to ensure that the glass back was protected from any damage, as we all know how easy it is to drop an mobile! Ever since owning my first iPhone, the iPhone 5s, I have always used the cheap leather front and back (folio) cases found on eBay but I knew that these wouldn't be strong enough to protect the glass as they are extremely flimsy, but they are alright for the aluminium iPhones.. I did some research and came across various hard wearing cases (advertised as shock proof) and I managed to narrow it down between this and a UAG case. I found it difficult deciding which one to go for as both have mixed reviews but after reading many review about the writing coming off the UAG cases and the fact that this case (at the time) was slightly cheaper I settled on purchasing this.I have had the case for 7 months and for someone who uses their phone on a regular basis this case has been great and has met all my expectations, and I am yet to find any faults. My case still looks brand new! I have dropped my phone twice from a very small height but even so it has protected my mobile, I can't comment on the protection when dropping it from a fair height though! What I like about this case the most and was also another deciding factor, is the fact that it looks smart and professional. There is the otterbox logo on the side of the case where you open it but it is very small and you really see it that much, unlike some cases which have massive logos printed on. The feel of it is nice too as I know some cases can feel plastic and tacky but this is nice and neat, a bonus point for me is that it has the leather look rather than a plastic look. It's also handy for storing cards in the inside pocket, such as a driving license, although these can be difficult to pull out sometimes, especially when you have 2 or 3 cards stored in there, so ideally storing one or maybe two cards is better.I have read some people commenting on the microphone issue, but so far I have not had this issue and I have had this fitted to my iPhone for 7 months, so can't really comment much on that issue..I think this product is set at a reasonable price and you can definitely tell the difference between this case and a cheap one off eBay. I will definitely be purchasing another case once my case finally starts suffering from wear and tear!

I've just purchased an IPhone 7 and this is my second Otterbox case. The previous case was a Otterbox Defender for an IPhone 6 which was very tough and dropping the phone was no problem at all. I did find the Defender a little chunky in size as it nearly tripled the depth of the Iphone, although it fit perfectly okay in the inside pocket of my suit. Although the case certainly helped preserve the resale value of the phone!This time I decided to go for something that will hopefully protect the phone just as well, but is sleeker and more suited to the office hence choosing the Strada case. Having put my phone in it today the quality of the case is superb, it's made of genuine leather and all 4 corners of the phone are protected in tough material which covers and protects both the off and volume buttons whilst making them still usable.There is a hole to access the silent switch and also the lighting port charging point as well as holes for both bottom speakers. The case also has certified drop protection meaning it's been tested thoroughly.The front screen cover is held shut by a strong magnet so it shouldn't fly open if it's dropped whilst closed. There is also a slot on the front cover to hold a credit/debit card but I would say only 2 cards max.

I can't recommend this case enough. I am a female with small hands and it doesn't feel bulky for me to hold, and I can open the magnetic flap with one hand (for those times when you grab your phone out of your bag to answer quickly) due to the small flap holding the phone closed.I think it looks awesome on the phone and is very classy. The leather is genuine and feels smooth to the touch but also appears thick enough to not tear or mark.I have dropped my phone on concrete with this case on (from waist height) and there is not even a dint or chip or anything on the case anywhere!! So that impressed me! The case did also not flip open on impact. This happened to me on my previous iphone 6, with a much cheaper case and cracked the home button!!I have been using the teal colour since November now and it still looks brand new, the inside hasn't started to get grubby yet either so I am either very clean haha or the material is well made to hold up from general dirt....I'm always holdubg my phone too, so I'm happy it isn't looking discoloured on the pale inside material.Just ordered another in black. You really do get what toy pay for this with case, so if you do think it is a bit pricey, still go for it as you won't be let down at all!

This case is of high quality build and my iPhone 8 fits perfectly. I've been caught in the rain a few times and my case/phone as a combo don't seem to have suffered. It also provides very good protection to the screen. I haven't dropped my phone so far so I guess this would be the true test.The only downside I can find (but it doesn't really hamper me that much) is that the microphone is muffled which means it can (but not always) sound like I am having network issues. Also the feature 'hey siri' will ONLY work when im directly facing my phone which means its more difficult to set a quick reminder or look something up quickly when my hands are full.I would still recommend choosing Otterbox cases, I have used them a few times before and I really does provide a lot of protection!!

Always avoided these folio cases as I thought they were old father time, however after purchasing my IPhone 8 and having cracked the screen on my IPhone 6 I relented. I had heard of OtterBox cases previously and how safe they made your phone so I ordered the Strada. What a smart move, I am really pleased with my purchase. Its stylish, well made and most importantly my phone is safe. if your after a case which makes a fashion statement about who you are, look no further OtterBox all the way.

Das Folio-Case "Strada" wirkt dezent und professionell, man sieht ihm die große Schutzwirkung nicht auf den ersten Blick an, da es nicht so klobig wirkt, wie etliche andere Produkte mit einem ähnlichen Schutzanspruch. Nach dem Aufklappen der durch den recht starken Magneten verbindlich gehaltenen Klappe, sieht man dann schon eher, dass das iPhone in diesem Case den einen oder anderen Sturz unbeschadet überstehen wird. Durch den starken Magneten wird die Klappe auch beim kompletten herumklappen auf die Rückseite des Case verbindlich gehalten und durch die Position wird die optische Bildstabilisierung (OIS) der iPhone-8-Kamera nicht beeinflusst.Cases, welche die Magneten im Deckel und in der Rückseite nahe der Kamera haben, können die OIS negativ beeinflussen und dazu führen, dass Bilder nicht mehr fokussiert werden können. Diesen Effekt konnte ich beim iPhone 7 nicht nachvollziehen, beim iPhone 8 schon. Daher ist nicht jedes für das iPhone 7 geeignete Case mit Magnetschließung auch für das iPhone 8 geeignet. Das OtterBox Strada macht hier keinerlei Probleme!Das Material fühlt sich gut und stabil an. Das iPhone liegt in einer Dual-Layer-Schale aus weichem TPU, welches das iPhone umschließst, und stabilem (vermutlich) Polycarbonat, welches für die stabilität sorgt. Das Leder duftet herrlich und fühlt sich ebenso angenehm an. Anfangs fühlt es sich rau an, mit der Zeit wird es sicher noch eine weichere Oberfläche bekommen.Die Verarbeitung ist über jeden Zweifel erhaben. Die Leder-Bestandteile sind vernäht, die TPU- und PC-Schalte perfekt verklebt, alle Öffnungen liegen an der richtigen Stelle und die Vorder- und Rückseite des iPhone werden durch Microfaser geschützt.Insgesamt ein hochwertiges und super verarbeitetes Case zu einem angemessenen Preis, welches uneingeschränkt auch mit dem iPhone 8 verwendet werden kann.

Il prezzo non è economico , ma vale la pena di spendere per avere una cover di qualità e di gusto che non si rovina , a differenza di altre più economiche . Acquistata precedentemente per un IPh 6 e ora per un IPh 8. Si adatta perfettamente all’8 e consente la ricarica wireless sull’apposita base . Consigliatissima.

J'ai cet étui depuis plus de huit mois, et contrairement à d'autres modèles que j'avais pour mon précédent iPhone (4) dont les angles cassaient assez vite, il est toujours en parfait état. La seule marque d'usure est la garniture intérieure à droite de la fente pour carte qui a un peu tendance à se décoller.J'ai pu tester sa solidité hier soir quand mon téléphone m'a échappé des mains alors que je tentais de répondre à un appel tout en étant à Velo'v : une vilaine chute sur le bitume et pas le moindre dommage sur l'appareil. En particulier, le rabat aimanté, s'il s'est ouvert une fois à terre, a pleinement protégé l'écran qui n'a ni rayure ni même le moindre pixel mort. Le cerclage en plastique de l'étui a pris quelques petites éraflures du fait du contact avec le goudron mais elles sont à peine visibles et le cuir n'a rien.Je suis donc pleinement convaincu par ce produit et recommande la marque les yeux fermés.

Funda ideal para IPhone 7. Encaja a la perfección, protege todo el perímetro del IPhone, y cierre con imán perfecto. Al abrir la tapa el iman hace que pueda abrirse 360 grados para hablar como si no hubiera tapa. La recomiendo sin ninguna duda. El iPhone se me ha caído muchas veces y ni un rasguño.

Habe die Hülle für mein IPhone 8 gekauft und bin wirklich sehr zufrieden damit. Natürlich ist das Smartphone etwas dicker damit aber es wirkt nicht klobig und es schaut dazu noch Edel aus. Es sitzt alles perfekt und man hatt den Eindruck das es einen Sturz aus größerer Höhe ohne Probleme überlebt. Der Magnet hält sehr gut und ich bin mir sicher das er auch den Dekel zu hält wen es doch mal auf den Boden fällt. Der Magnet ist an der Lasche die etwas übersteht angebracht was sehr praktisch ist da man so ohne Probleme das Smartphone mit einer Hand öffnen kann und bedienen. Induktives Laden funktioniert ohne Probleme mit der Hülle.Natürlich ist die Hülle nicht günstig aber ich bin der Meinung wer sich ein teueres Smartphone kauft soll nicht beim Schutz knausrig sein 😊
