I have just opened this and I am disappointed. It is only the ends that glow not the whole staff although some light does diffuse down the staff. However, the connections are dodgy and it is liable to go out when spinning. I would have been happy to tinker about with it and could probably have got it to work again but I would expect to do this with a £20 staff, not a £50. the settings worked fine and the modes seem pretty cool, I didn't get much chance to play around with them before it stopped working. I will be returning this product.

I own a fair amount of things form Flames N Games and was really excited to get this as had been wanting one for ages. Well, I was very disappointed when it arrived as I had to figure out how to turn it one, assemble it a bit (you have to put the ends on which can be a bit difficult as the ends are meant to be snug so they don't fly off when you are using it.) and to top it off unlike other Flams N Games products the strength of the staff when lit is not that visible. It doesn't go down the whole staff as seen, nor is there a way to get the ends off once they are on which makes storing it complicated. Really was let down as used it for one of my dance performances and again, unlike the poi that I Have from them it felt very cheaply made. Really disappointed in this product and am now in the process of possibly making my own.
