The champagne of tonic waters - expensive but worth it.
This really does come across as the champagne of tonic waters. Been used with a variety of gins lately, and the extremely smooth taste that it provides helps emphasise the flavours. Goes really well with any garnish you want to apply to good gin to enhance the flavours even further - rosemary with dry cranberries, or cucumbers, lemons or whoever takes your fancy. Didn’t think a tonic could make such a difference, but makes it hard to think about going back to Fever Tree, let alone Schweppes. Is on the expensive side, but you can really taste the difference.

Expensive but great flavour
We were introduced to this by a German barman in a fabulous alpine spa hotel in Bavaria. We were unable to find it in any shops or store and had to source online. It is expensive so we keep it for more of a treat than everyday but it is worth it.

Light and fruity = gorgeous
Gorgeous. A light tonic that has a fruity/slight sweetness to it. Not as gassy or heavy as Fever Tree in my opinion. We serve it with Macaronesian gin that also has a fruitiness to it. Tried this tonic with Hendricks and it didn't have the same wow factor. To an extent it dampened some of Hendricks gorgeous juniper flavours. That's when Fever Tree has the edge.

A great tonic to lift your gin
This is not as fizzy as the tonics from 'ssshhhh you know who' and if you are enjoying the new craft gins which are everywhere at the moment, it is worth trying this tonic too. Apart from the more subtle taste which compliments the more delicate gins, the bottle looks great and the story behind the tonic is an ice breaker too.

Expensive but worth it for special occasion
It is delicious tonic.. perfect for the special ocassion Gin. Nice bottle too, which I suppose you can re-use as a single stem flower vase 😎. For value for money and taste.. I will still go for Fevertree .. but keep a couple of bottles of 1724 for that extra special G&T. Not as sparkly/fizzy as Fevertree.. but slightly softer flavour. Try one.

The best tonic water available
1724 is, in my opinion, the best tonic water available. I was recommended to drink it with Gin Mare and it is delicious. Unfortunately it's also one of the most expensive tonic water's on the market; however, that hasn't stopped me continuing to buy it - after all you'd pay about the same for a Schweppes in a pub

Great tonic, excess packaging
Had this before so know its a fantastic tonic. However, it came with a ridiculous amount of polystyrene packaging and in a large outer box. This practise must change, surely recycled packaging could be used.

Mile high g&t
Great tasting tonic that works well with a number of gins.Amazing with Silentpool or The Botanist with a slice of orange.Slightly lower carbonation in this tonic means less bubbles and a smoother g&t . Ingredients from high altitude on the Inca trail.Highly recommended for any gin connoisseur.
