Very good well made quality item. It actually seems to charge 'phones & i-pad quicker than if plugged directly into wall socket; possibly due to electronics of charger. Does not heat up , even after overnight charge.

It charges the family's smartphones and tablets much quicker than the charges that came with them. It has a small blue diode light in the centre of the middle USBs, and no overheating issues even with all four USBs being used. It only comes with the UK connector, with is permanently attached, which is exactly what I wanted, just for home use. A inexpensive product that simple does what it says. I can't fault it

For a long time I have been using a single USB port to charge my iPhone, iPad, camera and bluetooth speaker and found it difficult and time consuming to charge it one after another, however this 4 port USB wall charger solved everything! It's one of the best devices to have nowadays as a lot of electronic uses USB cables as it is universal.The charger is lighter than having to carry four chargers at one time. It's portable and compact to bring with me on holiday and share with family as they can use it to charge their own phones.The LED port light lights up in blue when it's connected which looks quite cool at night and makes it easier to see when you want to plug your cable in the dark.The charger came with a instruction manual and a one year warranty card. It also came with a nicely packaged cream box.The quality of the charger is solid and hard wearing. It has a great high quality coating that seems durable and easy to clean.It charges my gadgets fairly fast. I have put my iPhone in with 15% battery and in an hour the battery read at 89%. I was quite impressed considering I had other cables in there. It's efficient and definitely saves me a lot of time charging my gadgets one by one.Baring in mind it does not come with a cable so I use my own one and with that it worked really well.I highly recommend this item as I think it is definitely a handy piece of device to have in your household, office or for school or university.

4 stars as the description is a little misleading.The total current capacity is 8A so while it says quote:"provides the fastest possible charge up to 2.4 amps per port for any 4 USB-enabled devices simultaneously"with simple maths 8A is not 4 x 2.4A.I suspect that even though each port could provide up to 2.4A on it's own, it really depends on what is connected to the other ports at the same time and I doubt it could handle say 4 Ipads simultaneously at full charge rate.As our household only has a couple of Ipads and a selection of phones and rechargeable power bricks which only draw up to 1A anyway, then this won't be a problem.I have a usb ammeter which measures the current to the device being charged and it does show 2.2A being delivered to my Ipad 4 in a low state of charge. (The same as when I plug the Ipad into the original apple charger).Despite the concerns above this the unit is a keeper for it's price.

My iClever charger arrived today and I'm already impressed. The charger is slightly larger than the standard phone charger, probably to pack in all the iclever technology which makes this charger so fantastic. The charger comes with 4 USB slots which most electronic devices can be connected to. The charger technology works out how much power the device can support for each device connected. So far I have charged my phone, ipod and electric toothbrush all at the same time. I will definitely be taking this charger on my next holiday for the whole family to use rather than taking several chargers. I definitely recommend this charger and it's well worth the small investment.

I purchased this product after googling a type c charger that can charge a dell xps. Unfortunately it wont charge a laptop but will charge a number of phones and laptops simultaneously relatively quickly. So cannot really rate it any less than 5 stars.
