Great for a wedding cake
I bought this to display the wedding cake I had made for my daughter's wedding and it looked great. I wanted something simple to stand it on as the cake itself was quite lavish.I was initially worried that it wouldn't be sturdy enough but I needn't have worried. It was a 3 tier cake (3 cake layers to each tier so it was taller than an average cake) with the bottom tier being 10" diameter. I estimate that the cake weighed in the region of 11-12kg in total so it certainly had a lot of weight to take.If anyone else is wanting to use this for the same purpose, just make sure the base is sitting on a completely flat surface. The table the venue had set up for us had a tablecloth that was folded underneath itself diagonally so we had to find a part where there were no folds so it didn't rock.Great product and was perfect for us!

Purchased for Golden Wedding Cake
This is a lovely cake stand and will be perfect in future for ordinary cakes. However we bought it especially for our Golden Wedding Cake, which fitted with a little room to spare. Looked great until we tried to cut the cake. A bit embarrassing as it was a special moment at the party and we had to ask for help to hold it the stand, as when the cake was cut the stand tipped.

Good and Sturdy Cake Stand
The product arrived promptly and it's very steady. I use it for my cakes to as shown and it's very lovely. Although I would have preferred it a tad bit higher. It's also slightly skewed but not noticeable. I just edit it in my photos. Overall bits doing the job for me

lovely cake stand - but not quite the size stated
I bought this cake stand as I broke the bottom of my old one, but not the dome. It is just (with 1mm to spare) big enough, however it is not 30cm as stated. It is 29.3cm and 11 1/2 inches, in case anyone else needs the exact measurements.
