VonShef White Ceramic Cake Stand with Glass Dome Lid 30cm

This is the best cake dome I have ever purchased. It is my second one and that is only because my husband dropped a glass from the cupboard above onto my original and it broke the glass dome (nothing to do with the dome's durability, it was a heavy glass falling from a height). I didn't hesitate to order a replacement. I originally had a Nigella dome that I loved but it cracked over time, however this one is far better and I like the fact that the base is raised.The glass dome is a good height and the square edges mean you can fit a three tier cake in to it with ease and the glass feels thicker. The delivery is fast and it's well-packed. I can't recommend it highly enough it is an absolute bargain.

Excellent cake stand that really keeps things fresh. It does have a slight wobble to the base but that is barely noticeable once something is in it. I had biscuits in the stand for almost a month and they were still reasonably fresh (I had gone on holiday and forgotten they were in there). It's tall as well which means you can put things like cupcakes in there and the icing doesn't get squashed.The only complaint I would have is that as the dome is glass it is heavy to keep lifting off the top but that's the price you pay for something that keeps things fresh and displays them nicely.

I was really unsure of which cake stand to buy for my new house. My mum has a similar style cream one from Amazon (you can see in the photos) which I really love but we wanted white for our new kitchen. I decided to get the Vonshef white cake stand, despite a couple of negative reviews.I was so pleased when my order arrived today (2 days after buying it online at the weekend) in ample packaging (bubble wrap, couple of boxes etc-very safe). I opened it up right away and was so happy to find the glass unblemished and the stand perfectly centred- not wobbling at all. I am so, so pleased.I have also gone onto the Vonshef website where I can get a free 2 year warranty which is fab! Would definitely recommend!

Had high expectations for this cake stand as the professional pictures looked beautiful. Delivery was fast and item well packaged. It's a great size, but that's where it ends..I counted several air bubbles in the glass dome (on the side and the top where it is clearly visible) and a large glue mark underneath the base. It's not a smooth finish, rough edges. A poor finish as such would usually be classed as seconds. Certainly not worth the money I paid. I emailed the supplier almost a fortnight ago for a replacement - absolutely no response whatsoever. Wish I had taken the poor reviews on board now as I will be charged for returns postage, which is unfair because I paid my money in good faith thinking I was getting a good quality product. Do Not buy, do not waste your time or money. Huge disappointment with product and a non existent customer service. I normally never leave poor reviews, but this time I felt compelled to as I am angry at how they can pass these off as quality goods when in fact they are seconds.

This cake stand is gorgeous, heavy weight, sturdy and looks lovely. I brought it initially to display my huge christmas cake in but I will be using it often due to its large size. The straight edge of the glass dome means that you can use it for tall cakes or cakes that have tall decorations/candles on top of them. Over the moon with this product and would highly recommend.

A lovely looking stand, seems quite delicate. Unfortunately it was slightly faulty and didn’t sit quite right but the customer services were very courteous and helpful and are sending a replacement.

The first one arrived damaged, but having messaged the seller, they couldn’t be more helpful. I sent a photo of the damage, & they immediately arranged for a replacement. Now having received my covered cake stand, I’m more than happy. It’s a good size, easy to clean & has a beautiful dome lid

Arrived safe and sound even with glass cover. Sits beautifully on the dining table. I use to display pretty items when not in use for cakes.Wee bit pricey but well worth it for the quality and usefulness.

Commande prévue le 19mars, je l’ai reçu 3 jours avant ! C’est parfait.Le plateau super bien emballé, vraiment bien protégé! Et la qualité a l’air top.Je recommande vraiment ce produit les yeux fermé !

An sich ein wunderschönes TEIL! Das erste kam leider benutzt an, am Boden war sogar ein Haar. Nachdem ich jedoch amazon kontaktiert habe, die dann wiederrum den Verkäufer habe ich direkt ein neues bekommen und konnte sogar das alte behalten. Die Glocke ist mit Vorsicht zu genießen, aber ganz ehrlich, es sieht mehr als nur Edel und wunderschön aus! Ich backe manchmal nur, um die Glocke in der Küche stehen zu haben.

Présentoir à gâteau de très bonne dimension. Ne regrette pas mon achat. Très bon rapport qualité/prix.Excellente réactivité du vendeur suite à une première livraison défectueuse suite au transport. Produit échangé sans soucis.Je recommande ce site.
