Alcatel OneTouch 10.16G UK SIM-Free Mobile Phone - Black

Perfect for my 7 year old son to take to his dad's house. Coupled with a GiffGaf sim (that I bought here for £0.01), I have been able to restrict his incoming and outgoing calls. He does not have internet access. The phone is so very basic that this had contributed to it being so safe. There really isn't much he can do on it apart from call and text me. He has found it easy to use too. One downside is that it doesn't have any games. Just one or two would be nice. It has a couple that you can pay for but I haven't yet. On the plus side that means he does not run the battery down (which seems to be quite long lasting anyway). I have bought a £5 monthly bundle with GiffGaff which gives him more than enough allowance to call and text me.

Phone was not sim free selling something completely different to what is stated will not buy again

Bought as a spare phone for elderly relative that got a bit panicked when their phone stopped working and realised how dependent they had been on it (or at least the reassurance of knowing you can call someone). It is basic but it just has to make and receive calls. Pretty much unbeatable at the price. Coupled it with a GiffGaff PAYG SIM where the credit does not expire - job done

Bought this phone for my disabled son who only needs a basic phone, somehow the ear speaker has been mounted on the wrong side of the phone so when listening to someone, he has to turn the phone round to hear then back the right way to talk and so on. Not impressed but it was very cheap.

This appears to be a fairly reasonable cheap and cheerful, basic phone. It does not have all the mod cons of an i phone, but having had problems with one, I just wanted something on which I could make phone calls and send texts. This does exactly that. And (for us older customers who lack the younger generation's savvy of all things electronic) it comes with an instruction book - how happy was I to find that in 2017? How long will it last? I have no idea, but it has got me through a sticky patch when my i phone went kaput and I was losing the will to live trying to get it work again.

This was a present for my dad, he is a builder and when he is working, there is a lot of dust and debris that damage the other phones that he has had in the past. Normally a cheap phone would last him a few week but this one is still there to this day and it has been a few months now. This has a fairly good battery life for someone who uses it every so often throughout the day.I would suggest charging it every night even tho you can probably get through a couple days of not so much moderate use of this.The flashlight is quite a helpful feature on this phone as my dad sometimes works late so he can just turn the torch on and find all his equipment.The interface itself is fairly easy to use and for someone who is not very literate in phones at all, this is a good thing. The buttons on the phone are easy to press and just the right size.I am very happy with this product

I was cross that the delivery of my goods was informed to me that it had 2 attempted deliveries and it mentioned the times. which was a lie as I was outside my property. I finally received my phone 30th and it was bought as an emergency standby and it is so perfect. I would buy again Simple to use and it does everything i need it to do. At 75 I do have an all singing and takes pictures etc. But I just wanted a simple phone.. thank you.

I didn't expect the battery to last for a very short period. We charged in the morning and by evening, the battery indicator already red and we don't even use the phone.
