This comes with three tiny batteries. Does any one know where they go?

The three additional batteries are spare batteries as the lighted tonsil tool already contains three batteries and arrives ready to use. The tonsil stone removal kit comes with a user manual which contains all the instructions for replacing the battery if needed. Please always consult the manual before using the device for the first time. If you have not received it, simply send us a message via Amazon customer service and we will send you a digital version of the manual.

Is this just a light or is it suction as well?

The Oravix tonsil scoop does not have a suction function, it has different nozzles to help you indentify and gently remove apparent tonsil stones.
