QUMOX CF Adapter Reader For Micro SD To CF Compact Flash Memory Card type 1

MY CF card for an older Nikon camera (converted to infra-red) was starting to fail and large capacity CF can be a bit expensive. So with this and a Sandisk SD card I am back taking pictures again, and now I don't have to worry about filling up the small CF, or worse, it failing when I'm on a shoot!!

I bought this product (single microSD slot, no wi-fi) to use with a (new to me) Nikon D700, in excellent condition. I formatted a number of microSD cards (16GB-64GB) under Windows, but was unable to format them in the camera. I tried Nikon firmware 1.02 and 1.04 (the latest). In all cases the camera started the formatting step, but after a few minutes it hung with a "CHA" error message. (The microSD cards then required special formatting on the PC to made usable again.)I know that others have said that the adapter works, but not for me. If you buy it you take a chance.

Worked 1st time ! Just needed to format a 64gb card via the DSLR to its "own" format which took seconds.I've been using "smaller" dedicated CF cards for my Canon DSLR. I took a punt and tried one of these adapters. I've added a good quality Sandisk 64gb card to it. Even set to continuous shoot mode the card and adapter can keep up (not sure about video (my Canon video camera uses SD so not tried it "yet" but I have NO hesitation in giving it a go). £ for £ as opposed to buying dedicated (and increasingly scarce big capacity) CF cards I am a) quids in and b) able to store more and more and via my laptop make on the fly backups while I am out without the need to carry CF Card readers (my laptop has a SD card reader built in so I can use the micro to standard SD adapter to copy / transfer the lot in the "field" as it were. CF seems to becoming redundant so this has to be the way forward !

had a few issues with my camera picking it up at first but once I got over that hurdle it hasnt failed me

I used this to turn my very old ipod mini into a 64gb SD card beast... amazing! works so well.

This item worked well until a bent pin wrote it off.With the micro SD slot on the side of the product meant that it had to be removed to change the memory card. It would've been better for the slot to be in the end, so that the memory card could be changed without disturbing the adapter.

Good product, works well in my 15 year old Fujifilm S602 Zoom.

It worked for a week and now it says it doesn’t format with my camera anymore. Can’t get a refund either so avoid at all cost

In my Nikon D200 this adapter works perfect. With a 32GB* microSD card shooting RAW/large files you will be able to capture over 1800 images.*the maximum capacity for the D200

I moved and unable to my Canon Camera CF card. I used this unit with a 4Gb Micro SD. It was rejected by the camera. Unable to use it, I was ready to ask for a refund when I decided to read the Canon PRO Digital manual and the requirement stated to FORMAT using the Camera. I did and now it works. I got the extra capacity. Nevertheless, IT WORKS. I'll try using my new 2nd 128GB Micro SD. If it works, I should give this 10 STARS!

Fonctionne tres bien avec mon canon eos 7d j ai mis une carte micro sd de 32go le nombre de photo apres le formatage par l appareil photo correspond aux autres cartes CF de 32go.Apres des essais ca fontionne tres bien aussi avec des micro sd u1 classe 10 de 64go et u3 de 64 go c est juste parfait surtout avec les cartes u3 les debits sont tres bonLes debit sont plus rapide avec la micro sd 64 go u3 que la Carte mémoire CompactFlash UDMA7 SanDisk Ultra 32 Go que j ai aussi. Avec mes carte classe 10 u1 Les debit sont un peu moins rapides mais ca vient de la micro sd avec une carte plus rapide les debits sont identiques
