Came very neat and unscathed!!
The media could not be loaded. The book came without any scratch, it's also colored on the inside.I started reading it today, let's see how it goes. I'll still come here to give another review about the content of the book.I bought it to aid my UIUX design journey.

The original UX bible makes you think
This is ESSENTIAL for web people and all those who deal with them.READ THIS BOOK IF: you need quick tips for building a useful, functional website with clear copy. You run a business and are setting up a content team. You work in any department and wonder why you're at odds with the digital team.I'm a content writer and this is a must-have for any - EVERY -digital media professional. Especially those of you having to regularly defend your decisions to a business that cares not for UX... guess that's all of you, then! This book needs updating more often, but the fact that it can get away with a once-a-decade refresh shows that wisdom is timeless. It shows that the user-centred approach wins out over pure design and copy flights of fancy, and capricious business whims, every time.

Love it!! Short, To The Point.. perfect for anyone who hasn't got time to read!
The writing style is excellent, very easy and personable. I have never read anything by Steve Krug before but he is my style, and i find this book an impeccable resource as i am involved in ecommerce projects.I really like the short snappy quotes and musings he uses.. top work and best of all, its a short read!!! Like the man says in the book, if it looks like its going to be hard work, people will ignore it - you certainly will not ignore this book i promise you.

Excellent book
This is an excellent book. If you would like to know more about software testing related stuff, this is the book to read. This book is recommended by one of my senior colleague who is working as a Technical Product Owner. There is a lot to learn from this book. I am so surprised to know that how software testing was happened in the early days.Great reading. Thanks a lot to author for writing and sharing such a great book.I strongly recommend it.

Stating the obvious in a useful way
Even the author says that this book just states the bleedin' obvious and he's not wrong. But it articulates it well and prescribes practical ideas for what to do with that 'obvious'.If you produce any content or design that is seen by other people then you should read this book. Even if you're already doing half of what it suggests, there will still be something in it of value.I can't believe I took so long to buy it!

Great book.
I agonised so long about buying this book or not that a new edition was out when I finally decided to buy it. I wished I had bought it earlier. Its a lot of common sense and really opened my eyes as to where I was going wrong on my website. The book does not offer step by step guides, just general principles so don't buy if you are looking for a blue print. The book could have done with more specific guidance of making a website mobile friendly.

Covers the big subjects, but I need more detail
Very well written. And very humourous. It made me laugh out loud a couple of times, which is not bad going for a how to web design guide. While it's definitely full of wisdom, and covers the overarching principles applicable to probably everyone, I think I will need to read further to address my own needs. Not all of it was that appropriate to me. A lot is about usability testing, which is important I suppose. And the rest is really aimed at people building big and complicated websites, probably from scratch, using teams of web developers. If this is you, then you should definitely read it. If, like me, you're just building a website on wordpress, squarespace or some other tool (where your options are limited by the templates available), it's useful but I feel I need to read further for more practical tips.
