HEX Performance Dual Action Gear Wash for Activewear, Sport Scent, 16 oz

I have washed my son’s lax gear a million different ways in the last 15 years. This is the first time the smell is actually gone and I can’t believe it! I washed his pads and gloves in the wash machine, hot water, long cycle, light spin and hang to dry. Amazing!!!! IYKYK!!!

Worked great on stinky hockey gear! Smell was not perfumey but was a nice deodorized sanitized smell like clean hotel bed sheets. Very happy with this stuff!

I took all of my gear to the laundromat, used this product to the directions and my pads came out smelling great. Let it all air dry, and they still smelled great. Of course, going to play undone it’s great job, but it can be a monthly task, rather than waiting for 2 seasons to end before washing it properly rather than just febreze air outs!

This product worked, but cleaning disgusting hockey equipment in the tub, I had to use more product than expected. I used the prescribed amount, then slowly added and agitated the equipment. For 3 tub-loads, I used about 2/3 of both of the bottles. That made it pretty expensive, but it did work well and got the smell out, except for the gloves, which I'm afraid are hopeless. They do, however, smell so much better, it was worth it!!

Love Hex products, they are just very hard to find in other places than their website. I try to keep their performance gear wash and deodorizer in my cupboard. The Linen smell is the one I prefer, but it is harder and harder to find that particular scent.

I used both entire bottles on all my hockey gear—using the hottest water possible—letting it soak for an hour and stirring it every 20 minutes. I think the photo of the water afterwards proves that it really worked.
