AcuRite Digital Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer with Intelli-Time Clock (Silver/Gray)

This was a replacement for the same unit I have had for 4 years. The readings were so cold this winter I thought there must be something wrong with the old one. I set the transponder next to the old one and the readings were spot on. IF the new one ever breaks, I now have a back-up. I am really pleased with the performance and would recommend this product and supplier to anyone. Did I mention I got the thermometer a day earlier than expected?

This is so much better than the thermometer it replaced! I thought my old one was tops, but I really love the large top digits showing the outside temperature. The readings check with my smart thermostat and the National Weather Service online. The directional arrows indicating the temperature trend is an enhancement I now wouldn't want to do without. And it automatically reset the time when EDT ended. Decidedly user-friendly!

Purchased this item last December for a Christmas present. Has worked fine until today. Have changed all batteries with new ones and waited one hour for the unit to reset, to no avail. It has just stopped working and any instructions I follow in the manual are useless. It just does not respond to anything I try. Since there is a one year warranty, I will contact the company.

Very disappointed in this product. The base consistently loses connection with the remote sensor... and the base is no more than 70 feet from the sensor. Even when moved closer, it will sporadically lose contact. The only way to reconnect is to remove and reseat a battery. Another design flaw is that the display is difficult to read... very low, if any, backlight... and no light button .

The clock on this does not have the atomic set feature and I notice does not keep time very well. After a few weeks it will get off by as much as 5 to 10 minutes.
