This is a great product, very powerful, and it does propel itself along in your drains.Did it work for me? No but I think my drains have been blocked for years in our new home and the drains are from our garage carrying runoff rainwater.Would this work on an "open" blocked drain - I'd say yes it would

I had a blocked downpipe and this unblocked it with no issues, the cable is long and flexible and reached to the top of my 2 story terraced house with no problems. My only concern was that this is a bit expensive for what it is and there were cheaper alternatives. However I chose this due to the brass fittings and it being an official product. The water jet is powerful and the rear facing jets help it move forward, the brass end on a spring moves about also helping dislodge the blockage. In conclusion this worked very well and was cheaper than a call out for someone else to come and unblock the downpipe.

We had a waste drain blocked but it had several 90° bends so rods were uselessI found this product for my Nilfisk power washed but I really wasn’t sure it could deal with the bends!It was so quick & easy to use; cleared the block in a matter of minutes & saved a £150 call out for a professional!

Item is genuine, arrived quickly and worked a dream clearing out my driveway gully drain which was blocked solid. Love the way it feeds itself into the drain like it is motorised, no doubt saved myself a small fortune by buying this and not calling out a specialist drain cleaning firm.

Cleans my sewer with little effort

This functions ecactly as you would expect, nothing to complain about there. However, it did make it clear that I need a more powerful pressure washer - the water pressure and flow from mine can only drag the hose so far along my drain uphill, round a bend and with an awkwardly angled entry. But that's a criticism of my pressure washer, not this hose.

Never cleaned a drain before, but I've got a blockage in foul water drain and it comes out from the back of my house. Tolerated it for 1 week, ordered this item, and acted on it 0.5 week later.I notice somebody say it doesn't get the power to unblock the drain. I got a 180bar machine and it didthe magic well. I saw a few Youtube videos about how to use this product and tried to follow it. I have a few things to overcome:1. Right bits to open the inspection hole + using the right tool to pry the cover2. super low visibility to where the head should go as foul water is almost at the top of the inspection hole3. the pressure of go ahead vs the risk of having foul water coming outPPE is paramount for your own safety, please wear:Marigolds/ glovessafety spectaclesDisposable/ suitable work clothesbest to have mask as wellI have used a good 12m out of the 15m from the inspection hole all the way to the boudry of property to clean the blockage. The satisfaction of listening the unblocking is definitely my top moment of the year. 3 forward 2 backward as the others described. I have pulled out a good load of building rubble from the hole. (even though the instructions say i should not use the "tube nozzle" but the "drain nozzle" for drains, i find it alright) It's not a very hard job to do, and I will learn from this time and be less messy the next time. It's good to know you can now do that yourself other than procrastinating till the very last moment to get someone sort it out. :)

I like my Nilfisk pressure washer. It keeps on working and has plenty of power. Having a blocked outside drain, the one fed by the kitchen and waste disposal unit, my usual technique of dosing with drain unblocking fluid then pressure washing with the normal lance did not work. I purchased this drain cleaning attachment. It came with instructions but they are a bit confusing. I used the head with forward jets for cleaning and rearward facing jets that propel is forwards.I can understand the theory but in practice the head of the hose doesn't feel like it is on a mission where nothing will hold it back from diving down your drain pipe. After much fiddling it did find its way down, slowly. It worked after a fashion but I could not relate that to its specific use. In short, a great idea with so so results.

Slang is niet stevig genoeg voor grotere diameter buizen. Ik schat dat het tot 60mm prima gaat. Daarboven is iets meer improvisatie nodig ;-)

Excellent produit, nous avons réussi à déboucher une canalisation à moindre frais, puisque une intervention d'une entreprise extérieure nous aurait coûté bien plus chère.Ravi de mon achat et livraison très rapide.

Wir hatten einen Küchenabfluss der nach ca. 2 Metern in der Wand total mit einem Fettpropf verstopft war. Abflussreiniger, Pümpel, sogar Spirale hat nur bedingt etwas gebracht, da immer nur ein kleines Loch durch das Fett gestoßen wird. Der Schlauch passt perfekt an die Nilfisk Hochdruckreiniger. Meiner hat 120bar, das hat ausgereicht. Mit warmem Wasser zwischengespühlt hat der Schlauch die Verstopfung aufgelöst. Der Schlauch zieht sich durch den Druck sogar von selbst in das Rohr gezogen. Die Funktion der Spirale vorne wurde mir nicht klar, kann wohl auch abgeschraubt werden. Bin sehr zufrieden, Abfluss läuft wieder zuverlässig ab.
