Clinique Lash Power Mascara Number 01, Black 6 ml

I only ever wear this mascara since finding it about 6 years ago. I wear contact lenses and this product doesn't cause any issues whatsoever. I am, if I'm brutally honest, pretty lazy with my make-up. I don't wear any other make-up except mascara (unless I'm going out) and sometimes sleep in it and wake up with it looking exactly the same as the previous day! It is properly waterproof (I work outside and it gets tested to its limit trust me!) but is easily removed with warm soapy water or make-up remover. It picks up all my lashes well and gives them great definition with just one coat and a second coat is perfectly adequate to take you into the evening. However, you won't look like you're wearing a pair of rampant spiders so, if that's your preferred appearance this isn't the mascara for you. It gives even, glossy, "natural" coverage which is great for those of us with fairer eyelashes who just want to emphasise what they've got.

I've always had a hard time with mascara because they run (even waterproof ones) and leave black smudges under my eyes.This is the only one I've tried that doesn't do that, and i love it.It makes my lashes look much longer as it adds a lot of length in the way it "wraps" around the lash like a tube.The only downside is that it does flake, leaving little black flecks under my eyes, but they just brush off with a light sweep of my fingers.I've read some reviews that find it hard to remove, but I've had no issues.I wipe off my makeup with a disposable cleansing wipe, then I rinse it in hot water and gently sweep across my eyes, repeating the hot water and sweeping until it's all removed, which only takes a couple of minutes.

Like the product. The packaging was excessive

I do a lot of outdoor sports eg mountain biking and the weather is often wet and muddy.This mascara stays put and does not smudge. Then just washes of in a hot shower along with all the mud. It also stays put on those hot sweaty days with no smudging. A Fantastic product. Used it for years and will continue to do so for many more.

This is by far, my favourite mascara of all time. Easily removed with hot water yet doesn’t run at all when crying, running, swimming, or any other usual mascara ruining activity. Separates my lashes nicely and I just adore the tiny brush. It manages to coat even the tiniest of lashes, giving a very open eye look. I’ve tried loads of other waterproof mascara and this is the only one to never let me down. I’ve been using it for over ten years and have no plans to stop.

Have lost count now of how many times I have bought this excellent mascara but have found nothing else as good. It is great for sensitive eyes and pale sparse lashes. It lengthens and coats each lash beautifully with a special coating that only comes off when washed off with warm water (crumbles off but doesn't appear to break lashes as it seems to be a flexible type of formula which softens with warm water). I used to buy Clinique's Sensitive Mascara (now discontinued) which was great but not really waterproof but this is waterproof. Highly recommended for lashes that need a little help to look longer and a bit more luxurious with no irritation.

At last a mascara that doesn't travel down my cheeks! I've tried them all - cheap and expensive ones, water / smudge / bullet proof and none of them lived up to the hype. On top of that they were often clumpy. This has a very fine brush so application goes where you want it, NOT where the brush or gooey mascara dictates. It stays put through the day too - hooray!
