IBS miracle worker!
We have a senior Devon Rex with ibs, usually we give him royal canin sensitivity. Recently he had a bad ibs flare-up, with daily vomiting and diarrhea, as well as a swollen stomach. He couldn't hold down the sensitivity food, and was refusing to eat it. However any other cat food, while he wouldn't vomit it up, exacerbated his diarrhea instead. Either way, he wasn't getting any nutrition and was losing more liquids than he was absorbing. After several trips to the vets, who prescribed pre-biotics, pro-biotics, anti-emetics, anti-diuretics and liquid vitamin supplements, none of their approaches had made any difference (especially as we had to add the medicinep in standard cat food, as he wouldn't touch sensitivity) and we were desperately worried.Through trying to find electrolyte solutions for cats (as I was worried about dehydration) I stumbled across this food, the royal canin gastrointestinal. At this point we just wanted him to be able to eat something and hold it in long enough to get some nutrition from it, so though it's not cheap we decided to try it since it contains electrolytes and specifically says it's good for ibs and convalescent cats.He took to it straight away, and after several days his tummy is almost back to normal. He's happy to eat it, definitely has his appetite back, his diarrhea is gone and he isn't vomiting, and the swollen abdomen has gone down too. You're only meant to use it for 2 weeks, so it's expensive but not a long-term cost. It's honestly worth every penny to see him on the mend. After the two weeks we'll put him back on sensitivity, but I plan to keep some in store in case he gets a flare-up again.Of course, you should never forego a trip to the vets if your cat is poorly, as vomiting and diarrhea can be life threatening to cats since their stomach, kidneys and liver and very closely connected.Having tried that, if you have a cat with ibs, this stuff is literally a miracle. Can't rate it highly enough!

Would definitely recommend to anyone who has a pet with similar problems
I've been feeding my too girls (cats), the feline gastro intestinal food for over a month now. One of my girls was very poorly, she had inflammation of the small / large intestine, and the pancreas, which caused diarrhoea, and weight loss. Following copious amounts of visits to the vets for her B12 injection and a change in diet to the gatro intestinal food (wet and dry), she is a different cat.Would definitely recommend to anyone who has a pet with similar problems. Sadly my girls will be on this food for their remaining days.. going hit the pocket, but been advised that a cat with a intestinal issue that mine have giving them anything else will cause a relapse.Other flavours would be nice though, so that I could vary their diet.

Finally a clean bottom!!!!
Although this is expensive my old cat loves this. He has had a sensitive tummy for a while now and I thought I would ditch his normal food for this to see if it clears up his sloppy poo. Bingo!!!! Clean bottom happy cat. I reckon over the years the percentage of grain in cat food has gone up. I got two kittens recently too who suffered the same. Shocking really that Whiskers, Felix and Iams kitten food makes kitten tummies so bad. So I got the Royal Canin kitten food too. Wainwright and wellbeloved are grain free too which gives them a bit of variety. UPDATE the Royal Canin Kitten food is just as bad as the Whiskers, my poor kitten had such a bad tummy with it. Beware.

These are 85g and not 100g as advertised
Just checked the size of these given that our cat seems to be a bit more grouchy. Turns out these are the smaller pouches so not only has the price bumped up significantly, the size has decreased.

Ideal for cats with a sensitive tummy.
Great food for cats with a sensitive tummy this was recommended by my vet at first my cat was like ‘I’m not into this’ but I stick with it and he now loves it and no more upset tummy or diarrhoea I also give him (Leo) the chicken and rice flavour plus the kibbled version of each flavour which Leo also loves.

Royal Canin Cat Food Gastro Intestinal 100g (48 Pouches)
This is a really keenly priced product and was essential when we fostered a feral kitten with digestive problems. Much cheaper than the Vet! She seemed to enjoy gobbling it down whilst growling for our other moggies to get out of her way ...

Didn't work for my two cats.
I have two cats one of which is very faddy and has stomach problems. As she had what seemed to be enteritis I tried both cats on this food. Neither like it, my other cat will usually eat most sachet cat food but doesn't like this at all. My cat with the upset tum wouldn't touch it.
