EVGA 600-PL-2816-LR PowerLink Adapter

Purchased to remove the unsightly top mounted GPU cables from an EVGA Titan GTX moving them to a less obtrusive lower position.Impressed by the versatile design allowing significant reposition to suit all manner of six and/or eight pin configurations and brands.Unfortunately as the design is only ‘single’ or ‘twin’ plug it will not work with the newest RTX 3090 generation ‘triple’ plug boards…

Great, works great with evga 2080 ti black edition with stock cooler, but after i installed ek waterblock, it does not fit, because the new ek waterblock has a notch at the end of the block.

Bought to clean up my build as there's one thing that bugs me, it's the annoying cable going over the top of my GPU making it look untidy.Anyway, product is nice and well made with a degree of configuration to help it fit most cards. Unfortunately, even with this configuration and my own, personal, 'modification' - it still wont fit the ASUS 2070 Super OC Edition (see picture).My own 'modification' is the only reason why I'm not giving it 5 stars as it's something I feel it should be capable of doing. If you look at my picture, you'll see the tops of the power connection clips are rough. This is because, for some reason, ASUS has their power connectors in upside down. Anyway, you can't fit the power connectors in the other way around unless you cut off the back of them. Still didn't work, so the whole thing is useless as I can't return it.

I was really impressed with what is essentially a simple piece of kit. The box comes with all the tools you need to install the powerlink and extra connectors so you can suit it to your card. I especially like that it makes removal and installation of the graphics card really easy as it is far less fiddly to disconnect the powerlink from a card than the individual PCI-E connectors.The only warning is that kit is not compatible with every graphics card - I believe it is compatible with most recent EVGA cards (some like the 1080ti kingpin don't work), but other manufacturer's cards may not work - it's up to the individual card. Generally it will work as long as the power connectors are on the face of the card that faces out from the motherboard and towards the opposite end to the output ports, there are no more than two power connectors (some big cards like custom 1080tis and Vegas and older cards like the 295x2 need 3x8pins) and those power connectors are not recessed. If it meets these requirements it'll probably work.

This was just the gear to fuel my Pc modding addiction. For £10 it adds a lot of style to your system. Doesn’t do anything but make your gpu look pimp and that’s exactly why I bought it 😀

upside down for my card. wasted money

It works, its fine but ask yourself do you really need it? Its only a must have if your are concerned about the looks of your internal components. It offers no benefits other than aesthetics. Make sure you can fit it comfortably. Be warned it takes up a lot of space depending on your card i almost died of a heart attack when I connected it to my 1080ti and then had to really force it so the card with this attached would fit back in the case.I bought as an impulse buy, 2 stars deducted for the size issue and because of its awkward fiddley little screws that make it a bit frustrating to fit.

This is a good product. Makes your card look tidy and neat as the wites are out of the way.
