Hi the instructions for this say to apply “glass kiln wash” before use but this isn’t included in the kit. Can you advise please?

Same here, no glass kiln wash. I have used the kiln for around 30 firings without any problems so far. Supplier really needs to clarify and provide wash if needed. Good luck. :-)

Would love to know if this works for metal clay. Silver in particular.

Kiln wash not required, you just Place your glass pieces on the kiln paper that is provided in the pack.
