Lakeland Extra Deep Airtight Square Cake & Gateau Storage Box, 30.5cm x 30.5cm x 18.5cm

This is NOT airtight. It's a cheap plastic box with inflexible lid. No tupperware type seal to release air before closing.Barely any listings of food storage boxes claim to be airtight so I bought this specifically because it did.Just an expensive version of any cheap "keep fresh" chainstore food storage box that is neither airtight or any use at all.Landfill.

A perfect sized box for storing/transporting a large round or square decorated cake sitting on a 10" drum cake board. You would need to place something underneath the board and up the sides of the box for leverage in order to lift the cake out without damaging it. Alternatively stand the cake on the lid of the box and use it upside down.

Although the size is fine, the lip on the edge which you would lift to open was broken off. No sign of broken plastic in the box so must have been picked that way. The plastic is quite thin but that's reflected in the price. Amazon chat only offered return. I would have preferred a partial refund for the item as it's difficult for me to get to a post office at the moment.

Fits a three tier cake in comfortably with some space for decoration on top aswell. Just what I was looking for.

Not really airtight. I needed it to be airtight as I wanted to store a fruit cake in it. But otherwise a decent height & size.

Love this. I actually bought it to store my washing powder in the cellar and it does the job perfectly!

These are very thin, flimsy quality. Tge lids did not fir properly

This is huge big tub, bigger than expected. Good quality and tight closing lid. Would buy another
