Lonely Planet South Africa, Lesotho & Swaziland (Travel Guide) Paperback – 13 Nov. 2015

Whilst I haven't yet been to South Africa, this looks to be a very practical tool for both planning a trip and to use whilst out there. It covers pretty well most of what you would want from a guide although you would obviously need detailed maps alongside this.

Really well-detailed; logically laid out and honestly written. We'll see how accurate it is when we're there .....

Good as all Lonely Planet guides are - only negative and reason I didn't give it 5 stars, there isn't that much information regarding the towns along the Garden Route.All in all, very informative.

Good guide with a reasonable amount of information for planning. Still tend to use online sites for booking accommodation.
