A lovely soft black pencil if you use it dry, and easy to smudge if you want to. Used wet as a watercolour, it is very versatile for shading & filling in. It can be as dark or as light as you like. This is especially a useful addition to a travelling case, as it is so versatile. Great value too ... buy several !

A useful addition to the tool box, recalled from being in my dad’s tool box and his maxim ‘Use the right tool for the job’. An all surface writer pencil, it is particularly useful for glossy surfaces including plastics and glass. I used mine to mark out a contoured cut out on a black plastic drain cover where the contrast between the black plastic and the yellow was essential. Good value and as reasonably priced I also ordered black and white chinagraph pencils as well as the yellow.
