V-Tech VT-131 Quality Auto Sealer Silicone Adhesive Sealant: 75gm Windscreen

My car had a small leak at the top corner of the windscreen whenever it rained, and I didn’t fancy spending a fortune at a garage. Picked up this silicone sealant and honestly, it worked really well. The tube is super easy to use — no special tools or anything. I just cleaned the area, cut the tip, and squeezed a thin line of sealant along the leak. It went on smoothly, didn’t drip everywhere, and set pretty quickly. Left it overnight, and tested it with some water — completely dry! It’s been a few months now and even after some heavy rain, no leaks at all. Really happy with this. Easy to use, actually works, and saved me a trip to the garage. Definitely recommend if you’ve got a small leak to fix.

I bought to attach the door rubbers on my ford focus. Apparently these cars are notorious for the rubbers coming off. So far it has worked well. I had a lot of problems getting the product out of the tube. I needed to use a lot of pressure, not good for arthritic fingers. I would buy this again, next time I think I'd split the tube open and apply with a putty knife or similar.

Forgot to take a picture of it before I started using it but oh well, it’s good stuff. I’ve been having a problem with damp in my car, thought it was the front windscreen as it had been replaced but auto glass said not. He noticed the glue was coming away around the back windscreen hence the white sheen around the glass and recommended some sealant to close the loose gaps. Took to Amazon and ordered this, well people are right, it is bloody hard to get out the tube, left it on the radiator for 10 mins but as it’s metal doesn’t roll well. Started to come out of a hole I created whilst trying to roll it up near the bottom so had to wind it with tape and apply pressure up the top by the nozzle. However, very impressed with how it’s turned out. By far a masterpiece but my car is an 07 and I’m going to be the last owner so it is what it is. Smelly stuff but created a brilliant seal. Took awhile to dry but I did use quite a-bit all the way round for belt and braces. Application wise probably should have gone for one I could put into a mastic gun but had no other use for black sealant so thought it would be a waste. Just enough in the tube for what I needed. Time will tell if it stops my car from misting up.

Purchased one of these to fix a leaking car. The first tube split at the bottom end due to the amount of force needed to extrude the product through the provided nozzle. Figured it would just be a bad tube, so ordered another, and yet again, its done the same thing, this time along a crease line where I was this time rolling up the end to keep the pressure up to extrude through the nozzle. Sealant seems good and strong but tubes are cheaply made and perish easily under application

Does the job but it’s very thick so difficult to get outta the tube

This stuff is incredible! I have a Peugeot 108 (10 years old) as a new driver I reversed into a wall, not too much damage but I pulled the bumper from its clips. I also noticed that the windscreen was not secured and that the from bumper clips were coming loose. All this would have cost a fortune at the garage. £6 spent on this and everything is secured! I have also used it on little jobs around the house. Great price. Great product. P.S. Wear gloves and don’t wear a white t shirt!!
