NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!! Build quality is very solid BUT I secure suction cup mounted my iPad pro to it set it on my table using the long edge of the iPad pro to sit on 2 curved points of the tail piece that acted as a stand within 15mins suddenly there was loss of suction grip and the iPad fell flat off the table and hit the marble floor smashing the screen requiring a £485 replacement iPad pro! I commend the structural quality of this device but WARN anyone they run the major risk of spontaneous loss of suctio at any point in time even when sitting stable on a table top!!! WILL NEVER USE suction directly to the device to hold it in place. Suction mount to hold an arm to a surface is different as he part that connects the device to the arm is secure and custom made- that's the better option!!! Sorry but my total cost is actually now £38 (this monkey tail thing)+ £485(iPad repair)+£800(original purchase of iPad pro) + time delay without my iPad waiting for this unexpected repair!

This is an incredible gadget.Much more massive than expected and looks a bit over the top supporting a Kindle Paperwhite. However it works extremely well in practise, easily allowing reading in bed without back strain.There is a slightly nervous feeling that as the vacuum inevitably reduces in the suction head the Kindle will fall abruptly to the ground. However we have found that a firm grip is maintained for at least 24* hours without any additional pumping.The entire product is beautifully designed and engineered with a quality feel. Brilliant. Would look even better with an iPad one day !* This turned out to be a bit of a miscalculation, sorry. 12 hours hours would be nearer the mark; after that it does need a little pump, as indicated by the increasing protrusion of the button. After a few hours it does emit, against a quiet back ground, a rather endearing little grunt occasionally, as the vacuum slowly subsides.

I’m using this wrapped around the handlebar of a static exercise bike to read books or watch YouTube while exercising on an iPad 2. There’s a bit of tremor from the motion of the equipment, but the vacuum seal is very strong and (after very limited experimentation) there is no sag with the weight of the iPad over a 40 min work out. It takes a number of hours for the seal to naturally ease too and there are a couple of early signs that allow you to re-energise it before it fails.I was a little sceptical on purchasing but chose to rely on reviews like this one to push the button and buy. I’m glad I did.

I was really excited about this product but after 2-3 uses the suction doesn't work properly and the tail doesn't stay bent. I am very disappointed as I can't exchange or return the item.

Good but wish they still made the original without suction as this isn't perfect

I use this when using my treadmill it holds my iPad great, also works well for a simple table stand.With an imagination you could find a use for it in most cases

TabletTail got for my IPad mini, great for watching films etc, very strong stand, very strong suction will stick to iPad or any tablet no problem, very happy with purchase.
