These are good quality bags which can hold quite a large amount. We packed one of the jumbo sizes with a double duvet for test purposes and used the pump provided. This worked quite well and took about 5-6 minutes to show noticeable compression. Having released the air we repacked the bag with the duvet and added 3 pillows, using the vacuum cleaner for suction this time - we were amazed at how flat it went … photo above.Packing a large sized bag with a bed cover, double duvet cover and various items of table linen the result was the same.These bags are far superior to others purchased in the past.

A lot for your money. Seem well made. Handy hand pump to get vacuum. Easy and no batteries to run out. Jumbo bags are huge….which is probably why they are called jumbo.

These bags are very easy to use and the instructions are straightforward to follow. It comes with 2 jumbo and 3 large bags. My only negative is that the jumbo, in particular are huge and difficult to move around and store anywhere. They would be too large for a suitcase or in a wardrobe, for example. I just about got the large ones in the top of my wardrobe. They would be ok if put in a loft or in a bigger space. I think next time, I would prefer to order more smaller sizes for easier storage. Having said that, they are really good quality and as I said previously, very easy to use. I don’t regret buying them.

Don't be fooled by some of the posts claiming to hold double quilts. I had to return a pack claiming to hold double quilts and replaced the item with these. These will easily hold a double or maybe a light tog king . There are three and two slightly yet still very large bags in the pack. Easy to use. Pretty thick plastic and the diameter of the aperture is easily covered by a vacume nozel if you don't want to use the hand pump included. I stored a double quilt almost two weeks ago and it is still airtight. A great investment.

Fair quality item but sadly most of them let air back in over a few days. Having purchased these items (different brand) before over the years I know the importance of loading them sensibly and getting the seal right. In this case that didn't seem to work so well. So they're fine for compacting duvets and fitting a few of them under a bed, but they may 'inflate' by the time you come to retrieve them which means they're hard to get out!

I had some other vacuum storage bags but they had ripped so after looking around I settled on getting these bags - the durable plastic and mixed sizes were my main draw.I have used the bags and they work fantastically the XL bags fitted a double duvet, pillow and sheets with no problem at all, shrinking them down into a much more manageable package. The L bag was then used for scarves, hats and other winter gear again fitted a lot of items and then shrunk them down like when I used to put crisp packets in the oven and then made a badge out of... well not that small but the same idea. The valve works well, the top seal looks good and the plastic itself is thicker than other bags I have used. Great quality and so useful for storing items, if you want to to make more space then these really are ideal. Perfect for putting your winter clothes away for the week when its summer here.

Tried storage bags before without great success, so I was a bit dubious about trying them again. However these bags do the job, I used the vacuum cleaner to vacuum out the bag and finished off with the hand pump. Using the hand pump would take ages. I have left the bag to see how long it would take for the vacuum seal fail, we are now into week three and the seal is holding. Good bags for the money

I originally gave this product 5stars but owing to a slight glitch it`s now 4.I bought two boxes, all five bags in the first box are great and still deflated after several weeks.I used two from the second box and both re-inflated after a few hours, they have a lifetime guarantee so I emailed "joanne from iridescent" as instructed but the e-mail doesn`t work.I`ve had to go through Amazon to resolve the problem and got a very prompt reply, a promise of a replacement then --oh dear we`re out of stock.So I am very pleased with the bags which work but slightly annoyed that the guarantee email doesn`t work and hope that come July I will have the promised replacements.They are good quality, roomy bags and easy to use, providing I get the replacements I would up the rating to 5 stars.
