Oh this has changed my life, it will never replace my straighteners but with such long hair, drying and straightening can take over an hour until I bought this. I keep my hair in a towel while I do my face and then from towel off to bone dry and straight takes just 12 minutes from my 2nd time. It’s not poker straight like when we burn our hair with traditional straighteners but I just use a little serum after and to be honest it’s more natural. This is so fast you can do it before work or after work for a night out. I’m not sure it would work on dry hair as thick and long as mine but I’ve still got good old hair burners for that. You have to go down slow but you can use quite big sections so another time saver instead of using tiny sections. I’ve not been brave enough to try curling but I didn’t buy for that anyway (have another gadget for that) but this has actually made my life easier because I work so much but now still have time to do my hair. Best invention in ages.

Very disappointed; firstly on receiving the 'new' instyler, it looked like the product had been taken out and badly been replaced. i took pictures and thought i would try regardless. As it was a birthday present I was quite excited. However after following the instructions to a letter I soon realised that it doesn't really work. firstly on powering on I waited for it to warm up and the LED lights to stop flashing. I sectioned my hair and pulled the styler through slowly, to see that my hair wasn't completely dry and that the display was flashing. this continued. While it did dry my hair, I now have more frizz than Monika from Friends, in the episode at the beach. I will be returning it, for a refund. :(

it is good but takes ages to dry my hair, even though I toweled dried it as suggested. had to use my normal hairdryer first the second time

Very disappointed, does not do what it says on the tin so to speak! Took forever to do my hair and the end result was worse than a rough dry! 😔

I have a lot of very fine hair and it's so nice not to have to blow dry then use straighteners or a curling iron. Took a couple tries to get the hang of it, but once I did, it adds a lot more body than blow drying and styling. It also keeps the hold longer and I don't need to use any products at all. Also no sign that it damages my hair at all. Love this!

Does not work on wet hair properly, takes a lot of time to obtain a dry result and hair still remains frizzy.

The hair looks fine but it get tangled and you must be careful so not to get burned.
