Animagic Penny My Cute & Curious Puppy

I was a little apprehensive about buying this due to the reviews from others. Ours was purchased directly from Amazon, so came in a plastic bag inside an Amazon box in perfect condition. It is a Christmas present so it hasn't been tested extensively. I removed the toy out of the plastic bag, and it was quiet. At first I thought its another one of these unresponsive pets. Then I realised the backs of the ears had to be scratched and spoken too and it started moving and barking straight away, this did go on for some time while I tried to stuff it back in the box before the little one heard, it was still barking in the box for a minute or so but stopped. Its very cute and I'm sure little ones will love carrying it around and caring for it. It does have an off switch as it appears quite sensitive which is useful. Compared to many of these toys that do not appear to work no matter how loud you shout at them and frustrating children, this one actually does something.

Great toy at a good price !. A little robotic sounding but doesn’t affect use nor bother my toddler !

It doesn't work and as it is quite cute and fluffy you are left trying to convince your reluctant child to part from it. It made a few cute noises when first unwrapped and then almost instantly went wrong, making strange un-dog like electronic noises. It turns it's head a bit but does NOT wag it's tail or listen to you. It is useless and leaves you with a disappointed tearful child. Also the front legs of the toy dog seem to have hard plastic or metal pieces in that aren't at all cute and fluffy and may actually be dangerous. Not sure. Going in bin. However, Amazon were brilliant and refunded me, but still left with a sad five year old. Unfortunately when I bought this there were no reviews. Not the standard of toy I would ever expect Amazon to sell. Disgusted.

I agree with all the others 1star reviews as the 1st one arrived faulty exchanged for a second one and works fine. It is indeed limited but for £10 I think it's great. We can't expect it will be like a furreal interactive dog as it's much much cheaper. My girl (2 years old) will love it but older girls (I would say over 4) will find it quite boring as only barkes, wags his tail and "listens to you 😂 yeah right that's is moves his head" so if you're thinking in something that does more than this 2 things don't buy

OK - it's inexpensive. Judged on its price at £10 it's probably OK as a stocking filler for an older child. BUT it looks like it should do more and work better (visually she is pretty) - and that risks disappointment. I am also concerned that there are some rods in the "feet" that spell danger to me. They are not enclosed in the paws and I can see the potential risk of a child getting hurt. She is also not soft - the material is thin and the innards are hard plastic. There are other dogs that do more and work effectively - but expect to pay £40, not £10. Essentially she is repetitive, non-responsive and it's obvious it's a compromise. I can see little ones getting bored and frustrated quickly. Do not know how to explain this better. I hate to give negative reviews - but with a little more manufacturing thought this COULD have been OK. As it stands, notwithstanding that I have absolutely no idea how this can be sold for £10 at a profit, I cannot recommend this. Sorry.

Sehr schöne Ausführung und süß gemacht. Habe ihn für meine Enkeltochter als Geschenk gekauft. Er ist sehr ansprechend, aber auch ein wenig teuer.

LE petit compagnon arrive déjà avec des piles, le mettre sur position 2 pour que la queue bouge aussi.Ma fille l'adore et le son n'est pas si fort que cela.
