Only really works with the same brand
I tried using it with other pens, even tried to apply over pencil to get a smoother look, but I think they only really work with the pens of the same brand. They definitely do good with there intended partner, though, that's why I bought it to try.

Amazing
I cannot praise these markers enough, I absolutely love them, they’re super pigmented and easily glide over the page creating beautiful colours

Very nice quality, but doesn't last
I have a whole range of these pens and I love them, but my one gripe is that if you use them regularly, they don't last very long at all. I've had to buy quite a few of just this colour in the last 6 months and they aren't cheap! If you're just using it for detail it is 100% a great brush pen, but if you're going to be using it a lot or covering a large area, be prepared to buy multiple.

Loved them!
I loved these so much! (The pastel set of 6) I say loved because they have nearly all run out :( which is a real shame because they aren’t cheap. The brush tips were lovely and I had lots of fun blending some of the colours and fell in love with the brand enough to invest in some more. Out of the 34 I subsequently bought and this set, about 6 or 7 have started to or nearly completely dried out. I may invest in some copic markers if I can justify the money to myself purely for the cost effectiveness in the long term with their refills. But for now I do really like the Winsor and Newton’s. Initially the pens weren’t streaky (and most still aren’t) but the drying ones are becoming that way. However the others still offer nice pigment, dry very matte and are rarely streaky (especially in brushmarker form). The colours were different to on the caps but thats quite normal with alcohol markers, I encourage buyers to swatch each pen as a more accurate reference. Also they sometimes look a little different once dry - but nothing unpleasant. They blend really quite well, especially this set with their brush nibs but the promarker sets sometimes need a bit of extra pressure/elbow grease and a colourless blender to really blend the colours. I got my blender in the set I bought after this one (which was my first). These were my first set of alcohol marker pens. It took me a long time to chose which brand to use and quite a bit of research but ultimately I chose these for their strong pigment, colour options and even finish (lack of streaking). All in all I love them but know I will need to find a more cost effective alternative eventually.Hope this helps :)

Winsor and Newton Skin Tone Brush Markers
Positivesthe brush tip is amazing, it allows quick coverage of larger areas that's streak free. The colurs blend easily and easily look.Layering, you can build up the layers to create different effects. The female picture I've added was one or two layers of almond with some blush, the male was several layers of dusty pink with some pralineDark tines can be used to for hairUnique colours, I recently also purchased all the spectrum noir illustrators and there was no colours in the spectrum noir that match the three light colours of the winsor and newtonNeutrals or things to noteEven tho this is a 6 pack it's really two 3 packs a very light set of 3 and a dark set of 3.NegativesAs stated the pack is effectively two 3 packs, very light and dark so it is missing a lot of medium tones. So anything you do is going to be either very light or brown which limits what you can do especially with the light colours (layering can help with the lighter colours).I'd like to see the pack expanded to 9 to include other tones winsor and newton do such as putty, champagne, sandstone etc. But this is a minor gripe as anyone who uses markers understands about building your own collections.Overall really happy with the pens even though the colurs haven't turned out to be what I was hoping it has let me see first hand the quality of the brush markers and they're capabilities at colouring skin. I have already added to my collection with more winsor and newton as well as some spectrum noir illustrator. The picture I've attached was my very first use of the markers and is a combination of all 3 light colours.

Hmm, I can't make my mind up about these and can't quite put my finger on the reason......
I use the Winsor & Newton promarkers a great deal and I use other brush pens and decided to give these a try out, I bought this set of six plus 3 loose ones in colours I use a lot. Hmm, I can't make my mind up about these and can't quite put my finger on the reason. The brushes in this range are certainly different to others I have in that they are a total bendy, thick paintbrush, they are no good for finer detail on a picture and I am not keen on how the brush handles. Some people will get on fine with this range but naaah I think these will be used very little in the coming months, although I am loathe to send them off to the charity shop just yet.

Great pens! Really useful
Currently sitting on a mattress in a poppy field in England drawing a glove placed on a beach ball floating in a small abandoned paddling pool filled with diesel. Quite possibly the best brush pens I have ever used today. Never used brush pens before mind but these are great! EPIC times to be had😎

Good marker, terrible ink
I've used these brushmarker for a long time. The brush head is great but as the years have gone on the black ink has become less dark. They also don't last very long.. I do live drawing at events and I would get through two of them in a day.
