It fits the DF61
Although the splurge speaks about DF60 I think this is meant to cover the DF61 too because it fits perfectly. I am pleased because I thought that I would have to buy another tripod for my DSLR camera. Both plates are now fixed to my camera and camcorder, making it quick and easy to change devices. A win win situation! I recommend this product.

Does exactly what it should, at a great price
Perfect fit, great price and delivery.It's well worth buying spares just in case - nothing worse than having a useless tripod because the plate goes missing. And if you have multiple cameras the extras save swapping.Also useful for long lenses, etc.

Useful if you use multiple cameras
I bought a couple of these solely to make it easier to change cameras on my tripod without having to unscrew the shoe.I know that if a certain member of my family borrows my tripod it will come back without the shoe and if I am out in the countryside my wife will want to use my tripod when I am using it so "ask" me to unscrew the shoe so she can use itIt is handy and as claimed quick release [if you have the matching tripod] , left attached to a camera it is not obtrusive at all

Exactly as expected
The shoe does what it does, really. The shoe is reasonably priced for what it is, and makes a great replacement for a lost shoe (or just for having a shoe on multiple cameras) For anyone curious, this will fit on a Velbon DF-61 tripod.

A change from the original mouting but does what it says
The original shoe has an additional female thread on the bottom, which was the purpose of the purchase, it was really useful for the application I was using it for, off the tripod on occasions. That said. It fits the tripod well and is fit for purpose.

Article original de belle qualité en boîte d'origine
Il s'agit de la plateforme amovible pour pied Velbon. La base est en plastique (comme la tête du pied), par contre la surface d'accueil de la semelle de l'appareil est en caoutchouc synthétique ce qui procure un maintien parfait. La fixation sur le pied se fait sans aucun jeu. Très satisfait de mon achat pour le prix tout doux de fin de série.
