Purchased this phone from Amazon after reading the reviews. Had previously bought a hard of hearing phone for mother in law it was useless. This time round family she lives with were going away and we didn't feel happy she would be left on her own with no way to communicate with anyone if there was an emergency etc. She wears two hearing aids but is very hard of hearing she has 80% loss of hearing. So I purchased this phone it arrived promptly. I didn't tell her I was buying another phone for her I just turned up and set it up. As soon as I plugged the phone in and lifted up the receiver I knew it was the one! The dial tone was really loud she even heard it sitting in her chair next to me and I had the handset in my hand. The volume controls are so easy there just sliding buttons on the phone so easy to turn down if needed. Ok it has huge buttons the mother in law is deaf not blind but i don't think it matters. It has 3 quick dial coloured buttons so u can programme them and then also an additional i think 8 down the side so very handy to programme in and theres a pull out list so you can write the names next to them. I really honestly would recommend this phone its a miracle literally it sounds crazy but when you've had as many attempted shouting, screaming, spelling out words down the phone call as we've had its so nice to call now and be able to have a conversation where she can hear you 100%.

My 87-year-old mother has been becoming increasingly hard of hearing, and phone conversations increasingly frustrating for her, and callers. Especially for me, as I live in the U.S. and don't see her that often. It got to a point where I literally had to shout for her to hear me - and then just barely. She was upset too that she could no longer hear her 5-year-old granddaughter on the phone. My husband suggested a hard-of-hearing phone, and after reading favorable reviews of the Geemarc Clearsound, bought it for her. Fantastic! Now, she can hear me clearly talking at normal levels, and I can hear the delight in her voice. Plus, it's easy to use - a simple lever for adjusting the volume. For a self-professed technological dunce like my mum, this is an added boon. I visited her recently and saw too how sturdy the phone is; nice, solid, big dial buttons, which as she said with a chuckle, will be easy to use if ever she starts losing her sight as well. Life can become very isolating for the hard of hearing, and I feel this has given her a new lease on it, since phone calls are largely how she keeps in touch with far-flung family. Very easy to program and so far working well . It’s loud and so many numbers to save on memory. I purchased a more expensive brand initially but it wasn’t allowing to save numbers on memory. This is just perfect as my elderly mother only has to remember which button is programmed for whom. So convenient.

My mother in law absolutely loves this phone it has made calling her so much easier she can hear the full conversation crystal clear excellent t value for money would recommend

quite pleased with this phone it's clear its loud but I wish there had been an instruction leaflet is there any chance of purchasing one please.would like to add this phone sits very securely on a wall which is a blessing for the elderly who are liable to knock a phone off a table . Bought this phone for my mum which she's had for about two months. It's a good phone on the whole, but there are a few points which hopefully Geemarc can consider incorporating into future models. The phone has three ring volume settings, one of which is an off setting. One setting is quite low and my mum can't hear the phone ringing when she's in a room a door away down the hall; the other setting is too loud for her and makes her jump if she's in the same room as the phone when it rings. If a medium volume setting in-between those two settings had been created, the medium volume would have been perfect. Another review mentioned that it would have been helpful if the pull out telephone number list had been designed so that the numbers on the telephone list line up with the numbered memory buttons. I agree that a longer telephone list design would have been helpful so that the user can read across the button and the telephone list in a straight line. There are three emergency buttons across the top of the phone, I programmed these buttons but had to write directly on the phone above them to say who each button will call. It would have been helpful to have had a small labelled area above the buttons to write on. There is a moulded area just above the emergency buttons which looks like it might have a purpose on other models. It's a shame it wasn't used as a labelling area on this model. Other than these points, it's a good phone with nice features and makes it easier for my mum to manage phone calls.

Mia madre, ormai 88enne, aveva difficoltà nell'agganciare la cornetta al vecchio telefono. Ho fatto una ricerca e questo telefono ha tutte le caratteristiche che servono a mia madre: il suono è chiaro, forte, si aggancia bene la cornetta nella base.

Simplemente mejor de lo que me esperaba

Habe das Gerät bei einer Bekannten installiert, die schwerhörig und kurzsichtig ist. Die Installation war einfach. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Die M1 bis M9 Tasten und die seitliche Liste sind ziemlich klein. Werde den Test jetzt abwarten und dann ggf. noch Eines bei einer Verwandten mir ähnlichen Problemen einbauen.

I am disappointed in this phone and went back to an old large button phone I have had in the past and it works much better than this one.
