Arcane Deck, Bicycle Playing Cards by Ellusionist, black

I bought these cards a long time a go as I was starting to get interested in card tricks. I was also going on holiday at the time and used them for card games. I started learning tricks with them and as they don't grip I had a good advantage. I got to learn fast how to use slight of hand.Advantages:• Very light weight• Very small and compact• Comes with a double sided card to help with the tricks• Cheap and worth the money• they have go a nice suttle designDisadvantages:• The card will get easily ruined with a drop of water. Wouldn't advise if you do tricks in a bar.• The case will get ruined very quickly• The cards don't come with duplicates for tricksI would and have recommended these cards to some of my friends and family. I would recommend buying these but do some research before buying them

Primarily, I bought this cards because of how they look (naturally), but the great reviews and the statement that these cards were 'high quality' were what really won me over. There's little point in paying out for a good looking set of cards if they're going to be mangled within a few uses. That said the design is pretty awesome.Firstly, these cards are really slippery. I've had similarly coated cards that weren't quite so eager to get away from me, but they shuffled well and felt good in the hand. Secondly, while they feel solid and held up to repeated shuffles well, the fact that they are already marked after a few games of solitaire and those shuffles...not so good. As another reviewer stated, the coating comes off the back/sides easily enough, and I already have a few scratches down the fronts of a few cards. Cards getting old and worn is expected, I just didn't expect scratches so quickly.

I know there are a lot of positive reviews about this product, but here what i think about these cards.The delivery was fast but then again I paid more than the cards for the next day delivery. Got from seller magicnevinI had googled the ellusionist website and saw all the "wow" cards and was excited to order the,. But as soon as i received, my first reaction was "shoot, these are fake".The print quality is not "High quality as described everywhere" Ok it's fine about the print quality. But then the quality of the paper isn't too great. One proper shuffle and i could see the creases.All in all, i think these cards would've been really good if they were a) plastic or similar so they don't crease when shuffling. and b) were printed in high quality design.I suppose these are good for magic tricks or playing where light shuffling is ok. The quality however disappointed me seeing how the website and all woed me by showing how amazing the cards are.

The cards are of very good quality, as you'd expect from the Bicycle brand. The finish is very slick. The design of the cards isn't quite what I'd hoped for; I was looking for something a bit more unusual with a genuinely 'arcane' feel to them. They're okay though.

So apart from the fact it arrived 2 days late the cards are beautiful and sleek. Exactly as pictured if not better. The cards are also slippery so they're perfect for tricks requiring sleight of hand but for overall just playing card games they're very obviously high quality cards when you hold them in your hands.

These cards are really cool, the design is very dark and ominous. Each face card has a unique design to it that makes them stand out. The faces of the number cards are nothing to special, they are very basic and alternate between red or silver, however, the overall effect of this makes them a very awesome deck to have in your possession. The cards have a very good feel to them and behave as a more quality deck should.

These cards look and feel fantastic. They turn heads and often are examined intently when brought out to play, and look very good whilst you play. I have found them durable, even with people bending them to hide their ards, there have been no marks. the only downside is the box-it is very flimsy-merely cardboard- and fails to hold together for longer than a fortnight or so.

An absolute must for anyone performing with cards. The cards have an amazing finish making them guide effortlessly over each other.Perfect for fanning and other effects. The stock of the card is quality enough for you to apply the extra grip required to the cards in place while handling. Not only a dream to use but the art work is amazing, I haven't had a single person not comment on how cool they are. On top of that the Joker is a nice surprise.Highly recommend, great value.
