Initial impressions are good
Our GSD has no power in rear end now to stand he's 12. I looked at all the versions but decided on this one really because of previous reviews and substantial size of wheels. It wasn't cheap so I had high expectations of quality. It frame was quickly assembled and it gives me the impression of being sturdy. The harnesses took us ages to figure out even with instructions and You Tubing. I'm hoping the fixtures to the harness/ frame are adequately durable ; we'll see I'm reserving judgement although it definitely doesn't scream flimpsy . We couldn't figure out the purpose of two zip tyes/ties round one two fixtures on the harness. The support bars on the frame attached to the front harness we felt should have had padding .Initial thoughts are delighted and I certainly wouldn't advise even contemplating buying a cheap version if it's a big dog.Within a few minutes he seemed to happily trot in the garden with his back legs fully supported in slings which are padded.

Great until the screws fall out
Our springer is 15 and doesn't have much strength in her back legs so she would often wobble over. The wheels are lightweight and easy to fit and meant she could join the rest of our dogs on their walks again. However, despite checking all screws were tight before every walk (having read comments on here) the screws for both sides bars and one of the wheels have now fallen out and we were unable to find them - we were on the beach and retraced our steps when we realised they'd gone but no joy. That also meant we had to carry her back to the car.None of the few spare screws which come with are the right size for the wheels or side bars and nor are they normal size screws which I could just go and buy. This has meant that we are no longer able to use the wheelchair so no walks for our dog. I have emailed the manufacturer but haven't received any response or even an acknowledgement which is very disappointing.

Great wheels
Took a bit of setting up, but only because we were trying to manoeuvre a 100lb GSD who no longer has use of her back legs. It’s very sturdy and strong- couldn’t get on with the sports sling even though the instructions say to try that first. The comfort sling suited us better, nice we had the choice of two.Expensive, but good value for money as the build quality is good

Bit disappointed
Bit too flimsy for large breed dog. I only used them twice on my dog who has degenerative myleopathy. Bit fiddly to get her into on your own and got quite stressful for us both. Ok for just walking in but when she ran and turned they caused her to flip over which wasnt good at all. Even after 1 use I found I had to re tighten screws. Not for us I'm afraid . Company wouldnt refund but amazon did.

Great little walker
The media could not be loaded. I made some modifications to the walker in that I fitted clips to the harness that could easily be attached to the walker . This made the operation of putting our dog in the walker much easier. He now loves it .and so do I..

Overall I am happy with this item.
However the small grub screw on the right hand wheel assembly will not tighten or loosen.

It has made such a difference to my dogs quality of life!
This wheelchair has made such a difference to my elderly dog American bulldog who suffers from degenerative myelopathy. She still has some mobility in her back legs but falls over repeatedly if walking outside unaided. Mobility in her front legs is still good so use the stirrups to keep her back legs off the ground.Thought we might have some issues getting her used to it but she took to it from day one. I think she loves the fact that she can get around faster and even started chasing birds again 😂. Also easier for her to do the toilet, unaided she struggles and more often than not she does the toilet then falls on to it. With the wheelchair there are no issues and we no longer have to clean her up after each walk.It takes seconds to get the dog in and out of this Having the bigger wheels means it is less likely to capsize although you do need to be careful on uneven, hilly grassed areas.A wee bit fiddly to put together but there is a helpful video on YouTube.I have no hesitation recommending this - money well spent!
