Spy Gear Door Alarm

I bought this for my son as he was fascinated with all of the Spy Gear equipment. I was dubious that this would be any good but much to my surprise, this was way better than expected and delighted my son who loved nothing more than to secure his room with this alarm.It doesn't stop you entering, of course, but if you do and the alarm is set, then it will trigger. This also then records the event so the alarm owner (my son) will know that I've been in his room whilst he's been out.I stuck this onto the door and door frame using the a velcro sticker and that seemed to hold it in place well enough.A great way to have some fun and let your kids pretend to be spy like characters and 'secure' their room from intruders.

This door alarm,made my sun to want to sleep alone in his bedroom .I'm trying to do this for ages.My son loves it ,it looks like in the picture ,works properly,exactly as described from the seller,easy to use for a 5 years old,good quality toy,great price,fast delivery.

Brought for my nephew 9 years old. He loves it. His Dad had to to fit it with additional sticky pads, however it does fit the door.

I would have put zero stars if I could. We bought this for our grand-daughter for xmas. She is extremely disappointed that it does not fit any doors in her house especially her own door. Whoever designed it must not have tried to fit it to a normal standard door. It should be stated on the packaging that it is not suitable for all architrave surrounding doors. Now we are left with a product that is useless and a very upset grandchild.

My 8 year old son LOVES it. His face lit up when he first heard the sounds (different beeps and lights for countdown warning, entering the code, getting it right or wrong, plus the alarm itself). Although it doesn't really stop people entering the room that doesn't seem to bother him; he still loves setting the alarm when he goes to school for the day and going straight up there with the key to let himself in.

My seven year old son wanted this for ages so he got it for his birthday.He loved the sound effects, having to key in a code and the key. He was disappointed because It did not fit flush on our door frame, but we used blue tac to resolve that issue. (needless to say the concept of it being a lock was at this stage highly questionable!) The blu tac also gave added strength to how it was held up as the double sided tape on this product was not strong enough to do so .I knew I would have to do this as I had read previous reviews so I was prepared.If buying this product be prepared to do the same. Despite this and the fact that even the blu tac gets tired holding it up the odd time, my son has great enjoyment with it and loves the idea of having a code lock on his door.

My 9 year old son loved this, He could alarm his bedroom and knew exactly when his younger sister had opened the door.( and so did the rest of us) haMade cleaning his room annoying !!!

It worked but not for our door type. Frame & door have to be same level in order for the magnet to be effective. Not worth the price
