so I own a small business where I grow my own fruits and veggies and sell them on the market,recently I have started using an indoor hydroponic system to be able to grow out of season plants and people were going nuts but my grow was too hot.for one id hate the police to think i were doing anything illegal and smash my door in so this helps get rid of the heat surprisingly well.and im also glad because it seems to be working great put it on the roof of the tent on the marked exhaust and jobs a goodun nice cool plants and it doesn't seem too loudid recommend buying zip ties or elastic bands if you like me have a fabric grow tent that way if you fit like me to the exhaust it saves space and seems to work perfectly almost all heat is whisked out and into my bedroom I used to sweat when it was on for so long but not anymore as it seems to disperse heat perfectlygood buy and id recommend it

It is quite and worked longer than my last one so that's a plus and it is quite, but does not move much air but that could just be my expectation, might get a larger one next year.

I did not rate this product as high as I thought I would have as the specification did not ring 100% true,don't get me wrong it is a decent little fan but I would recommend mainly for inlet air intake or part duct run's would do well in these circumstances but did not extract all air out a 4x2 ft space to the full extent..did work partly. I would actually buy another for the reasons it does work for(ducts,air intake) seems to be a quiet runner so far. I didn't receive anything or discounted rate at all for this review.

After purchasing this and comparing it with the 4" black orchid inline fan, yes this fan is quieter but it is no way near as strong as the black orchid. Wire placement on this fan is also it a poor position if trying to add ducting, had to drill a hole about an inch down the fan and pass the wire through that. 3 stars as it does do the job but if you want power and only slightly more noise choose the black orchid for similar price.

This did what it said it would do, there is a little noise but expected. We used this to extract heat from our living room while we have our wood burning blazing in one room, it does pull out the hot air to our hall way and makes our living room very comfortable. We’ve had this working for most of the winter with no issues. Thank you

Great little fan. Very quiet. Not powerful enough to add to ducting plus the cable is in the wrong place but a great fan just the same. For the money bargain

Don't buy this if your looking for a powerful extractor to connect to a carbon filter. It won't create negative pressure in anything bigger than a shoe box. However it's a handy little fan to supplement intake and it's nice and quiet. But NOT silent.
