Aquila New Nylgut AQ-4 Soprano Ukulele Strings - High G - Set of 4 Strings, White

Bought a new ukulele to learn on and was advised to buy a set of quality strings as the ones supplied with any new uke tend to be pretty poor. Once swapped the sound was much better and stays in tune far longer. Delivery was very quick and the cheapest I could find on Amazon.

Aquila strings have always been my favourite strings as they last and sound great... These are for a great price. My strings were for a Tenor uke not a soprano so ensure you order the correct size.

I took it easy and was able to follow some online help and replace standard Uke (Dolphin) strings no problem. What a difference these make, I certainly think so anyway (quote:- "are you playing that ....... ukulele again", The Wife). Great improvement in both quality of sound and volume which gave me extra motivation to learn more. I would recommend these whatever starter Uke you have. "#On a white sandy beach..."

I've been using aquila strings for many years, the sound and tone quality is second to none and once the strings settle in they stay in tune for a long time, if your looking for strings I would definitely recommend

Vast improvement on original Uke strings. Only just gone on, so still re-tuning every couple of days.

Unlike the nylon strings sold with cheap ukeleles, these give a much richer tone, and once stretched (which you can speed up by gently pulling on them after stringing) they don't go out of tune. Well worth the money.

I bought these for my Ukulele. They sound a lot better than the original strings that were supplied with it. They are also softer on the fingers when fretting for chords. The downside seems to be that I have to forever retune as it rapidly goes out of tune as the strings still seem to be stretching. Its been 3 months now!

Nice sound, made a big difference to my cheap second hand ukulele.
