Fantastic toy
I bought this last Christmas for my 2.5 year old daughter and she loved it! We especially loved that it can be filled with water! I had to take away a few of the tiny bits like the cute little flip flops as she constantly wanted me to put them back on the dolls and i was starting to go a bit bonkers! but she spent hours putting the dolls into the water and down the slide, even the little shower works!This has taken a pounding over the year as my younger daughter took an interest, now they are 3.5 and 2.5 and both still love it. it lived in the garden all summer got dropped many times and filled with mud, shells and stones and it still didn't break.I have taken it apart and cleaned it as the shower was blocked with mud and put it together again, it looks like new... minus a few missing bits that will probably turn up in the spring when gardening.I really do recommend this toy - it doesn't feel cheap, it can be completely cleaned, it can survive very small children fighting over it, it has also encouraged them to love the swimming pool and slide, they now teach the dolls to swim!LOVE LOVE LOVE this

Best toy EVER!!!
I bought this for my daughter's 5th birthday and she is absolutely thrilled to bits with it. It has got got to be the most fun-per-square-inch toy ever. I don't normally write reviews like this but I am so pleased with this brilliant toy that I just had to this time. If you buy your kids any toy this year make it this one, it is super fun, really good quality and even the grown-ups can't resist playing with it. It takes about half an hour to assemble, and you can fill the pool with water and when you press the little pump the shower really works. The slide also works brilliantly, the little people whizz down it really fast. It has decking, a sun lounger with parasol, lots of figurines who all have flip flops you can take on and off, plus accessories such as sun cream, water toys and towel. Whoever designed this toy really knows what kids love. Brilliant!!

Bathtime fun
I bought this for my 5 year old son, he had birthday money to spend so I allowed him to choose. As soon as he saw this he knew it was what he wanted!As always with Playmobil the toy is well made and provides hours of imaginative play. The shower was a little disappointing as it is only a trickle, but it does work.We have a ledge at the side our bath which it can fit on so I find this is the ideal place to keep it. If it was elsewhere in the house I wouldn't be happy to fill it with water as it would end up everywhere, especially with a baby around! My son is quite happy to play with it only at bathtime but it's worth bearing this in mind if you are thinking of purchasing.Overall a good quality, fun toy.

Amazing and fabulous
The title was given by my 7 year old daughter who is absolutely delighted with this present. It is a big piece (takes up half our dining table) and good value for money. Took us a couple of hours to set it up and many more to explore its functions. We love how the shower actually works (you pump it from a button on the side) and the ingenious design includes a drainage hole so the shower tray does not overflow. Lots of figures and props included in this set. Quite surprised at how forward today's girls are. The Playmobil girl saw the Playmobil boy dive into the water and proposed marriage to him! Then proceeded to introduce their children from previous relationships. I had a good laugh overhearing the dolls conversation :-) You know all is well in the world when children play joyfully. If you can only buy one good gift for your boy or girl, then this swimming pool set will not disappoint.

Lots of tiny bits
Once assembled, my children enjoyed playing with this, exciting for them with water in. But putting all the bits together took ages.

Excelent, would recommend
Brilliant Playmobil set. Took about 40 mins to assemble, not too hard to follow instructions. Once assembled water can be poured into the pool and the pump can be pressed to squirt water out of the shower. Lots of accessories and people. Lovely plants and details. Big pool, baby pool area, steps, grass and plants, rock and waterfall, sunbathing deck with lounger and sun umbrella, shower, ladder and slide. Keeps my kids amused for ages. I purchased when on offer for £20 which I think is good price for this item. Would recommend for boy or girl of any age.

Fantastic!
This is my first playmobil purchase but am sure it wonT be my last. Bought for 3 year old daughter after she enjoyed playing with it at a friends house. It was quick to assemble (around 20 mins by dad even with daughter 'helping') and she has played for ages with it. Around 15 mins at a time on her own which is amazing as she has a short concentration span and also likes to have a mum or dad play mate. She talks to the characters and play acts family scenes eg looking after baby in paddling area, boy too scared for slide so sits on dads knee, time for a drink put your flip flops on. Also we find that once we spend time playing with her and giving her ideas for play scenes then we will later see her acting them out on hr own.Fantastic for imaginative and creative play, and for eye to hand coordination as some of the bits e.g. The shoes are small and fiddly but we have found our daughter will persevere

Fiddly
The smaller pool part of this was missing when we got it, and we had to order the part directly from Playmobil - annoying after we'd paid full price for it already. A bit fiddly to put together, but plenty of detail in the toys and accessories that go with it. My daughter has only played with this a couple of times, but many of the small pieces have broken off and gone missing. This is a nice toy, but not worth the full price.
