Ok
Ok. Nothing special. Better out there. Spend a bit more. Get something decent.

A handy little addition to any tool box.
I have already used this handy little tool to quickly put and edge back on a couple of old penknives, a pair of scissors and the half round side to smooth a chip in a plate.I've only had it a day and it's probably already paid for itself. I've only given it four stars as I'm interested in hw long it will last. If it lasts a good deal of time/uses then I'll happily upgrade to 5 stars. At the moment I'd say it's worth the price to have one in your tool box to quickly refresh the edge on all sorts off tools. My only critisism is that the bottom end that stays in the handle is plain steel. I would happily pay a little more if the whole length was gritted, then you could reverse it when one end starts to wear out. For the cost though, it's not expensive to replace.

Effective tool
The Multi-Sharp Diamond Tool Sharpener arrived very promptly and I have used it effectively to sharpen my kitchen knives. Haven't yet tested on chipped glassware or garden tools, but optimistic it will work well. Very neat and well designed product.

Good to begin with
Works very well initially - easy to use and produces a keen edge - but its performance degrades over time and the flat surface on mine is now feeling fairly smooth. I bought a (rather more expensive) diamond-based knife sharpener in Japan many years ago and that's still going strong, so the degradation isn't inevitable, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Does the job.
My boyfriend and I bought this for a six week cycle tour around Europe. We did this on a shoestring budget and spent the majority of the time camping, shopping at Lidl, buying lots of bread and cooking most of our meals. We bought an army knife for the trip and bought this sharpener to go along with it. This produces quite a jagged blade though. I'd recommend going for ceramic instead, but for the price it wasn't bad.

Great tool to have in the home.
My husband had one of these many years ago and had used it for everything so when he said he wished he could buy another one, I looked on Amazon and decided to buy 2 as an extra Christmas gift. He is so happy with his new tool sharpeners and one will be used in the house with another to be used in the garage for anything there that may need sharpening.

Good tool.
This is a very handy tool that fits in your pocket and is helpful for a quick sharpen while out at work.
