This looks good for the price but it came without any instructions. Nor can I find any on the Silverline Website. This is my first grease gun and I bought it to grease my petrol strimmer's gearbox.I contacted Amazon, they confirmed that this product does not come with instructions. I watched lots of youtube videos on how to load grease guns but none was quite the same. Some had bleed valves, some you have to change the end of the plunger depending on if it you use cartridge or bulk fill. Eventually, today, I loaded some grease in it from a tin bit didn't know how to expel any air. Got it going after a while but it wasn't easy.It looks very proffessional and quite big, I suppose they think that if you buy something like this, you already know how to use it.If it works like it looks, it was good value for money but the lack of an instruction manual or information on the web is a bit silly.

Product would be absolutely fine EXCEPT for the fact that the connector to the grease nipple is not made well. It is easy to connect it but then virtually impossible to get off again without breaking it. It takes a lot of effort and use of an iron bar to get off. In a confined space, it will be impossible, i.e. the universal joint on the propeller shaft will be impossible to grease until we find an alternative connector. This obviously classifies the grease gun as a poor product because it is not really fit for purpose. The connector design needs to be rethought!! It is a 4-jaw and it should be 3-jaw!

The first time I attached this nozzle head to a greasing nipple it stuck and I fractured the end off the nipple when I tried to remove it. The broken end was stuck in the nozzle making it useless. I was going to return the whole thing but instead went to my lawnmower dealer and bought a new hose end to replace the useless one. I bought a pack of two for about £5 and they are better quality and work fine. I then cancelled the return. This is a budget grease gun and I ended up paying far more for it. I think in future I would avoid the cheapest tools. They are cheap for a reason.

Easy to use and fill as well as good value for money

This is by no means a Rolls Royce product, but so far whilst in use, it has performed exemplary. Have used loose fill grease with little leakage from the plunger end, but this will happen to any grease gun which is loose filled. Comes supplied with a flexible tube and a solid tube as well. Nipple jaws work well, but time will tell if they last. The PVE hand grip on the handle will work loose, but will only require a dab of epoxy resin to fix in place permanent. For the price, not much to complain about.

Good value grease gun. The box also contained a flexible tube - so there is no need to buy a seperate one. The product is solidly built and should give reliable service for many years. Silverline is a well known tool manufacturer. An instruction leaflet would have been useful - but it operates in a standard way.

Ich kann jetzt wann immer ich will etwas Fett entnehmen und für diverse Dinge nutzen. Es macht wirklich Spaß. So schön hat noch nie einer für mich Fett gepresst. Ich liebe dieses Teil. Genau wie der Inhalt dieser feinen Presse, ging der Versand wie geschmiert. Ich kann die GreaseGun jedem empfehlen der ein Fahrrad, einen Schiebparker, einen Trekker, einen Rückezug, einen LKW, ein Haus, einen Garten, eine Werkstatt, einen Hof, einen PC, einen Tisch, eine Punpe, trockene Finger, Lust auf Ausrutsch-Scherze und zwei Hände zum Pressen hat. Auf die Presse fertig los und kaufen. Gestern habe ich mir wieder 245 Kartuschen im Sparpack bestellt, ich bin schon ganz hibbelig, in der Erwartung das die Lieferung bald kommt.

la pistola non sarebbe nemmeno fatta male se non fosse per l'accoppiatore che mi è rimasto incastrato nell'ingrassatore e forzando mi ha addirittura staccato l'ingrassatore; ciononostante non sono riuscito a rimuovere l'ingrassatore dal beccuccio accoppiatore.
