Brilliant device that is lightweight and can be left plugged in for weeks. Generates a reasonable voltage in winter conditions. I've plugged this into my car which is only used every few weeks and since I bought it I've not had an issue with the car starting first turn despite long absences. Given my car is a 5.0l V8 engine BMW it needs a fair amount of power to turn a cold engine over and this has helped no end.The sucker cups on each corner are good at gripping glass, mine is fixed to my sun roof, and the leads supplied allow connection to the always-on lighter socket. After a year its distorted a little and is no longer completely flat, probably as it can get hot between the sunroof and the interior cover, but it still puts out lots of volts.

The media could not be loaded.  Before purchasing, I had to do a bit of investigation. I found out that if I bought a small solar panel then the best I could hope for would be a trickle charge or to keep my battery topped up (which fortunately, was all that I needed it for). Then I had to look to see what was out there that was any good. The company that make the panel that is used in this kit is called SunPower and seem to be reputable and quite a large manufacturer.Glad I did the research because having received it, I am really pleased with what I have got. Nice and easy to use. I only have the one purpose which is basically keep a 12v battery topped up that I have in my garage. The door remains open for the majority of the day so once I connected it with he supplied battery terminal connector leads that was me done. Having said that, this comes with some other bits and pieces. 4 x rubber suckers that fit neatly into each corner, allowing this panel to be attached inside to a window or outside to a smooth surface. Also, you get a cigarette lighter adapter that allows for the vehicle battery to be charged from inside the car without having to open the bonnet.As long as you understand that this isn't going to jump start your car even on the sunniest of day then this is a winner and serves the purpose I have bought it for. Because of that, this is getting a 10/10 from me

This has been working for w few months now. So far so good. Took the advice of others on the connections at the back.Mounted the panels on perspex with gap between them (Reason told later).I'll up date this later once in use over winter.

Very well made from good quality materials, the bag of fixings cover every option from rubber suckers to hanging clips. The panel itself is wafer thin and is so easy to stick on the inside of the windscreen.The panel is the more modern wafer thin flexible type and not the heavy glass laminated rigid version.It’s important people realise that this will not charge up a flat battery. It’s function is to maintain a charge on a battery which is left in situ and unused.So without this panel my campervan, which stands for months unused over winter would, over time, ordinarily end up with a flat battery.This device plugged into the cig lighter and placed in the windscreen keeps the battery charged and in good condition.On a winters day with sunshine it will put out 20v and the inbuilt diode will stop reverse discharge when the light is dim.So overall it’s a great piece of equipment and if you have a vehicle, lawn mower or motor cycle which sits unused for weeks on end then this is the device for you - just make sure the battery is charged before connecting!

It works, but wouldn't say it does its job if your looking for a car battery trickle charger; especially in the UK.Update: Seller contacted me to offer exchange or refund, I opted for refund which was promptly issued along with my return postage.

PURCHASED THIS PRODUCT AS I WAS GOING OVER SEAS FOR 12 WEEKS .PUT THE PANEL IN WINDSCREEN FACEING THE OPTIUM SUN EXPOSURE. RETURNED HOME TO FIND THE CAR BATTERY AS. FLAT AS A WITCHS TIT 😩ONLY TO FIND IM TO LATE TO RETURN THE USLESS CRAP .BY THE TIME YOU HAVE USED IT TO SEE HOW WELL IT KEEPS YOUR BATTERY CHARGED UP .YOUR OUT OF TIME TO RETURN IT.WTF. 😳DONT BUY ONE ITS. JUNK. 👍

This works very well if you don't start your car very often, it's kept my very old battery charged nicely even in the coldest winter I had no trouble starting the car, worth the money.

The best solar battery MAINTAINER I have , easily keeps my car (stop/start) (90ah) battery topped up. I only use it a couple of times every other weekend at the moment, I leave the solar panel on the dashboard so it gets bright daylight for approx 3/4 hours and ambient for the rest of the day.But it seems powerful enough that even on overcast and rainy days it works sufficiently.FYI 18watts is not really enough to charge a flat or partly discharged battery. It is not a battery charger it’s a maintainer

I had a temporary work assignment that was nearly a month long. I had experienced a loss of charge on my truck battery in the past when having to leave it in an airport parking lot for a month. I parked with the windshield facing south, used the suction cups to put it on the window and plugged it in to the cig lighter. I intentionally left a volt meter in the truck and when I got back, I tested the battery and it was at 12.9 volts. To the best of my knowledge, this solar panel charger worked great to keep my battery trickle charged while the truck sat. It is not a new battery so I feel that this worked well to maintain a full charge on my battery.The only negative thing I can say is the suction cups are not very strong. The panel came loose from the window while I was gone and was laying on the dash. I have played with it since I got back, with my truck in the driveway at night and the parking lot at work during the day and it does seem to fall off easily. However, it still works okay by just laying it on the dashboard. Probably would have a higher efficiency if it was suction cupped to the windshield. The suction cups just snap into the holes on the solar panel - I am going to replace the OEM ones with some larger, stronger ones and see if that helps. Overall, good product in my opinion.

I bought one of these for my garden shed here a year ago to test it with a 6 Ah 12 volt battery, to power my garden lights. As i live in the Netherlands i wanted to see if it worked wel in a north European country. Well it worked just fine, it did a good the job last summer. So i decided to wait until winter to see if there any bargains for this item, and i got 2 with 52% discount. I am sure that there are better better panels that you can buy on Amazon, but if you look at the price and the good quality of these Suoki panels and their presentations, you can not beat them. At the end what counts is: wat did you pay for 1 watt of power, against cost of the panel and it live expectancy .

Je l ai utilisé pour recharger le s270 de suaoki(générateur 220 et powerbank) .Il lui faut 2 jours en plein soleil pour le recharger complètement. Je pense qu avec la plaque solaire suaoki de 60w ce sera plus rapide et je pense l acheter à l avenir quand le prix baissera.Pour éviter de mettre un régulateur car la plaque fournie du 24v et le suaoki ou la batterie de voiture est en 12v j ai utilisé un adaptateur allume cigare et j y ai branché le chargeur de voiture.ainsi y a pas de surtension puisque le chargeur de voiture va réguler le 20 ou 24 en 12v.Donc en gros je suis satisfaits des produits suaokiLa plaque solaire fonctionne sans rayons de soleil même avec la lumière du jour et aussi avec des lumières blanche produites avec des spots mais avec moins de voltage et d intensité.

Va de lujo. La instalé en mi velero y me mantiene dos baterías en paralelo a tope. Quedo muy satisfecho con el precio, la calidad y el rendimiento. Ah! Quién dice que no lleva diodo? Sí lo lleva, solo has de habría la tapa de contactos y lo verás. Recomiendan desconectar la placa por las noches, pero es normal. Por la noche no hay carga y se corre el riesgo de sufrir una descarga en caso de fallo del diodo, pero eso es algo que puede ocurrir en cualquier tipo de panel solar. Puede ocurrir, pero remotamente.

Ho acquistato questo pannello fotovoltaico per mantenere in carica la batteria dell'auto che uso poco quindi soggetta a scaricarsi. Prima dovevo usare un caricabatterie ogni tanto , ma in questo modo non è piu necessario perchè è tutto automatico. Il pannello credo sia il piu efficiente del mercato 18W rispetto alle dimensioni, ad oggi, ed è ottimo proprio per questo scopo. Io l'ho collegato direttamente alla batteria facendo un collegamento fisso. Si può tranquillamente accendere l'auto e lasciarlo collegato perchè c'è la protezione per la corrente di ritorno. Consiglio però VIVAMENTE di usare un regolatore di corrente per pannelli fotovoltaici, acquistabile su amazon al costo di circa 12 euro. In questo modo la carica verrà regolata sia in corrente che in tensione ed al momento della carica massima il regolatore provvederà ad interrompere l'erogazione di corrente. Potrete anche visualizzare sul display quanto manca alla carica completa e la tensione esatta della batteria.
