Ordered 2 of these kits due to a shortage at our local motor factors. Both fitted by our local mechanic correctly. One bearing, however, is knocking very badly. The other one is absolutely fine. Perhaps just a faulty part, however I now need to endure the cost to replace.If you are fitting yourself and don't mind the possibility off of being off the road for a week or so if you require a replacement, then go ahead and buy. If you are relying on a mechanic, and the costs of labour, perhaps give this one a miss.

Straightforward swap-out for the standard suspension top-mount. In case you were wondering (as I did) which bit of the top mount you'll need to do the job (There's a triangular rubber and metal bit and a plastic bearing bit in the kit) since you can buy them both separately, my advice is that you'll need them both. Even if, by a miracle, one bit doesn't need changing then it just doesn't make sense to dismantle everything and not replace the lot in one go.It took me about 2 hours to do the work and, other than spring compressors, no tools were needed beyond what is in most toolboxes. I could add instructions explaining about how to go about removing and refitting the strut so as to change this part, but there is a video on YouTube that does it much better than I ever could.

One of the threads broke down, same torque was applied.
