could I use this cable to connect a mixer to pa speakers?

A 10' cable might be a little short but otherwise, if you're using a normal mixer and active (powered) PA speakers or monitors (such as our DXR Series), then an instrument cable is fine. If you're using a powered mixer (or a mixer with a power amplifier) connected to passive (non-powered) PA speakers or monitors, we'd strongly recommend using speaker cable rather than instrument cable.Best wishes,Yamaha Music

Does it have a killswitch?

There is no killswitch. I have no 10 foot cable. Sad to say, I bought a shorter Planet Waves cable and it was faulty. I replaced it with Fender. I'm sure it was a one-off.

Does this cable come with a lifetime warranty?

No idea. I have other Planet Waves cables that say Olanet Waves on them, but this one from Amazon doesn’t. It looks identical and it plays the same....I’m still not sure if I’ve been duped.
