Jamie Oliver Cookware Range Quick and Easy Garlic Press, Plastic and Stainless Steel/White

Like the other reviewers, I should have listened to them instead of getting tempted by the look and name. Rubbish just like the chef himself. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 only because it looks nice. Maybe if it were made of metal instead of plastic, it would have been more effective. Most of the garlic when pressed, stays in the press instead of being squeezed out and that even when peeled. A bad design of what could have been a nice kitchen gadget.

Well thought as it was Jamie Oliver product it would be good. Not so, hard to squeeze the garlic, difficult to clean. Altogether rubbish.

The material was not stated , I would have had second thoughts now knowing it is made from plastic. Jamie uses a die cast aluminium version of this design therefore much more ridged and can cope with the pressure needed.

I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing this garlic press. Like others, I had assumed the 'Jamie Oliver' branding would ensure a useful, well thought out piece of kitchen equipment, but was very wrong. I have the same gripes as others about the small amount of garlic that gets through, but my main objection is that the perforated plate is not flush at the bottom, which makes getting at what little garlic gets through the grid virtually impossible to get at. I have use this once and an returning immediately for a refund. Not fit for purpose.

It will only pulp the garlic through the tough skin if you've got muscles like Arnold Schwarzenegar. I still have to peel the garlic first ...

An OK garlic press that's white not blue.

Basically the same as any other press but more expensive
